INTRODUCTION I took pictures at the Cancer Awareness walk of not only some performers but also some of my team. I thought taking pictures at the walk would really relate to the theme Teens Succeed because being involved in something like this is a positive thing. It’s positive for not only those involved but also for the community. I think these pictures all tie in with the meaning of Teens Succeed.
SINGING THEIR HEARTS OUT Emily Baldwin and Natalia Vargas sang the songs “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” by Kelly Clarkson and “Who You Are” by Jesse J. They exhibited their talents and left everyone amazed.
JOKING AROUND Here my team was caught mid-laugh and joking around with each other.
SARAH SINGS Here you see Sarah Anderson singing and having a great time on stage.
PAW PERFORMERS Here is the PAW class getting ready to sing a song together. They used their in-class time to practice a song to perform at the walk.
WEBO’S GOT RAP At the walk, there were two unexpected performers. They rapped original songs and really stood out from all the singers. Their skills got everyone feelin’ the vibe.
COOL AND CONFIDENT Here we have a picture of some of the members of my team strutting their stuff.
TAYLOR SWIFT SONGS Gabby Lucy sang “Mean” by Taylor Swift at the walk. She definitely entertained some people there.
DUETS John Vanderburg and Casey Cosky sang “Everything Has Changed” by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT Here Nick Irving is practicing on his ukulele before his performance.
ROCK OUT, MAN Here a guest band plays one of their original songs.
