“You have to find that place that brings out the human in you design doesn't the "Good soul in you, the love in you.”date"

- Harry Seidler - r.m.drake

That place to me is my home, any built space or environment that are thoughtfully designed and organised. Through architecture and interior design, I feel connected with people the most. Creating and designing spaces that could make people feel good, look good and do good being in, is important to me.

A BOUTIQUE HOTEL THE BRIEF Interior design for a warehouse conversion into a boutique hotel in CAMPERDOWN NSW. The design scheme to be inspired by contemporary, local and indigenous art and sustainable design. Each space to have an unique concept, experience, colour, finishes and its own art selection. The project includes a contemporary pop up off site, one break out area and 12 guest rooms divided into 4 different room categories and experiences. CONCEPT EXPLAINED This design scheme pulls its inspiration from the performing arts; referencing different theatrical moments and elements. The intention was to recreate something with depth, sensibility and maturity for this boutique hotel in Sydney Inner West. POP UP DESIGN FOR CAMPERDOWN HOTEL The idea is to refresh the rigid form of an industrial container, similar to what scenography does to the theatre stage with set props and lighting.

CONFINED DWELLING THE BRIEF Interior design for a tiny terrace house located in ENMORE NSW, combine the heritage front with a contemporary design, focus on sustainability CONCEPT EXPLAINED The design aimed to resolve two main constraints of this terrace home, space and natural light. The solution was taken from lessons of how a forest cabin is designed and built, to minimise the impact, be self sufficient and to create that seamless connectivity between the exterior and interior environment.
