Bu Ayo Naik Jembatan! Design Thinking Collaborative Work

Observe Indonesian Basic Health Research in 2013 stated that traffic accidents accounted for 9.7% of the causes of injuries to children aged 5-14 years. The Bridge Crossing is one of the implementations of the government's efforts to protect children on the highway

Emphatize Physical

How might we educate mothers about the importance of Parents role for childern safety in traffic

?

Why don't mothers cross the road using a bridge?

The Three Factors

Mother is tired, or her physical condition is not possible

Environmental The distance of the road is close, the road is one-way and seems safe, there is no sidewalk guardrail

External Mother carrying a lot of goods, the road conditions are not as crowded as peak time and CCTV is not operating

Reframing From

How Might We Change Parent’s Behaviour about Crossing The Road?

To

Drawing Charcoal

Using off-cuts material & twigs around the neighborhood, LagiLagi drawing charcoal aims to spread the spirit of upcycling and awareness, to be creative, responding to our environment's condition. It's a simple and humble medium that can be used for drawing. We collect woods around our neighborhood that most of them have been neglected and consider as Junk into writing instruments. LagiLagi recycles wood offcuts and fallen branches into charcoal used for drawing instruments for children. The contrast of the coloring that shows the type of wood against the deep black heightens its quality as a product. The package is also simple, but has the necessary quality. It is a much appreciated item for children that want to draw, and anyone can remember drawing with a branch in the dirt or with a piece of chalk on the road when they were young. It is a fantastic product that brings back memories of growing up with junky tools. LagiLagi Team Winner of

The process of making drawing charcoal is fairly simple, by coating pieces of wood or twigs with aluminum foil, then putting them in cans and burning with a burning duration of one to two hours depending on the type of wood to be burned. However, to get good quality charcoal or in this case perfectly and evenly distributed charcoal, several experiments were carried out including adjusting the size of the pieces of wood and the amount of wood that could be burned in one can, trying to use two combustion devices such as a furnace and gas stove. besides that the duration of burning also needs to be adjusted because each wood has different character and maturity points. This experiment also shows that the differences in the character of each type of wood affect the character of charchoal drawing itself. besides, it also becomes a variation to meet user preferences and needs

Cabel Train Design Payment System Collaboration Work

Sampurasun is a collaborative design procject of public transport in the form of a cable car designed to facilitate the needs of users in areas with congestion points. Public transportation is also designed with clear routes, integrated with other public vehicles such as trains, Angkot, and city buses.s for this project, I was asked to design its payment system.

sampurasun

Payment System Sampurasun is also an application specifically designed to facilitate the needs of cable car users. including to buy tickets, detect the nearest stop from the user's position, passenger density at the stop and estimated travel time from one stop to the next stop. Purchasing tickets through this application can only be used during operational hours.

Ticket for 1 person

Put money here Take change here

Besides buying tickets using a special application or card. There is also a ticket purchase place with cash contained in each stop, when the purchase process is successful it will come out in the form of a ticket (paper) containing a QR code that can be immediately scanned when the user is at

The official prepaid card is for users who routinely use this transportation service. Which can be refilled at the stop or at the nearest minimarket. To find out the amount of the balance, specifically for prepaid card users, every time you stick the card to the scanner, the balance balance will come out at that time.

Before entering or using a cable car service, the user must pass a scanner in the form of a gate. The output / ticket of the three types of payment were both scanned at this gate. Do not use the crossbar, but it will sound when the user has not pasted / held the ticket to the scanner

NEKLOK

Ceramic Necklace Watch Collaboration With STUDIO 181

STUDIO 181 was formed in the early 2004 with the mission to develop creative industry in Indonesia especially in the field of ceramic craft by promoting ceramics craft that represents the cultural identity of Indonesia to larger society, improving the product quality and making it as one of the valuable commodities, and encouraging innovation both in national and in international levels.

Studio 181's products mostly use ethnic patterns and shapes originating form Indonesia, such as batik and wayang, which become the aesthetic appeal for their consumers. Their typical market segment is women between the age group of 35 - 50 years old.

In this project, I was assigned to develop a new product for a new market segment. In doing so, I took strength, opportunity, weakness, and threat of Studio 181 into consideration. By using materials and build-techniques usually used by their craftmen, considering the production cost and selling price of the new product based on their previous productions. In addition, I undertook a research and a market survey, as well as conducted an experiment with ceramic materials. However, not only that I created the design

NEKLOK Ceramic Necklace Watch Collaboration With STUDIO 181

Based on the market research and survey, it was decided to develop an accessory in the form of a watch pendant necklace. This product was aimed a new market segment, which is young women with the interest in ethnic fashion who are active but still fashionable. Inspired by the famous photograph of the Earth, the Blue Marble, the marbling effect can be obtained from ceramic material. The color blend presents rich pattern, but still seems calm and mature, which is similar to the 'earth' image of studio 181. and in accordance with the new market segment which is in mature aged wherein women in that age usually has quiet demeanor but still dynamic. Studio 181 used nature pattern in their superior product.
