Circa de 1926 se diseñaron y ensamblaron las instalaciones ferroviarias, mismas que fueron traídas en piezas desde Estados Unidos. Hoy día constituyen un ejemplo casi único del patrimonio cultural industrial de nuestro país, donde predomina el hierro y el vidrio.
