Kindergarten Visitation Day

Incoming Kindergarten students and parents are welcome to participate in our Kindergarten Welcoming Program being held at all three elementary schools: A. J. Schmidt Elementary, Highland Elementary & J. T. Waugh Elementary. Students will meet teacher in their classrooms, complete a small activity, tour the building, take a short bus ride, and be able to drop off school supplies. During the same time, parents will meet with the building principal and support staff to share information and address concerns. The Kindergarten Welcoming Program at Highland and J. T. Waugh begins promptly at 9 a.m. and will conclude around 10 a.m. Students should report ready for their first structured school experience. The Kindergarten Welcoming Program at A. J. Schimdt begins promptly at 12:45p.m. and will conclude around 1:45 p.m. Students should report ready for their first structured school experience.
