Regular Weekly Meetings The Association was holding regular weekly debating meetings on Fridays from 18.00-20.00 in Publicum (PUB 5) and occasionally educational workshops. Close to tournaments, extra meetings were taking place as well for the participants/delegation. When needed two (2) rooms were used. The only period when meetings did not take place was during the academic holidays breaks.

Clearance of the Member List Similarly to the previous years, a clearance of the members occurred. During September, all the old members of the Association received an e-mail in which they were informed about the upcoming expiration of their active membership. More specifically, in case they wanted to renew it, they should complete the online form again otherwise their membership status would be switched to inactive. Moreover, e-mails which were not reachable anymore were instantly deleted.

Change of Association Rules It took almost two (2) years of continuous processes but in the end the change of the Association Rules was ratified by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office. Major changes were introduced which aim to help the Association reach its goals not only for this year but also in the future.

Promotional Material During the year, the Association has spent a significant amount of money and effort for the promotion of its activities. Towards that direction, promotional material was designed, printed and bought such as pens, brochures, posters, leaflets etc.

Official Website Given that the Association has been continuously growing year by year, it was considered as an important step forward to have its own online space. As a result, a domain (www.utudebate.fi) was purchased together with the necessary hosting services and as of January 2014 the Association has its Official Website where everyone can access the existing information and material.
