About Me

My name is Angela Guzman, and my passion is to explore how human behavior, culture, and design impact one another.

My interest in architecture began when I was exposed to the design and construction process of my parent’s hotel and condo in the Philippines. I was amazed by the cultural influence on the designs that fit in so well with the tropical context. This exposure sparked my passion for architecture. I am also passionate about sustainability and how a region uses local resources to construct a building.

To pursue my passion, I graduated with a BS in Architecture and a minor in sustainability and human development from the University of Maryland College Park. I believe that human behavior, culture, and design are key elements to creating a beautiful building.
