From this point onwards, our vision naturally extended beyond hospitality, embracing experiences that engage all the senses, with gastronomy at their core.

This year, we also celebrate 10 years of the Andronis Gastronomy Festival, a milestone that highlights our passion for culinary artistry. To mark this occasion, we welcome back distinguished Michelin-starred chefs who have been part of our journey, honouring the relationships and creativity that have defined this unique

celebration over the years. Over the past decade, this signature event has taken Santorini beyond its local boundaries and onto the global gastronomic stage. It has inspired, captivated and brought together Greek and international chefs in a place that proved to be a true culinary destination. Along the way, it has created lasting friendships and a shared sense of connection that continues to define its spirit.

As we look ahead, our story continues to expand beyond Greece. In 2027, Andronis Villa del Monte will open in Tuscany, bringing our philosophy of heartfelt hospitality to a new landscape and marking an exciting step in our international presence. From Santorini to Paros, and now, unexpectedly, to Italy. Rather than another destination within the Cyclades, we choose to surprise.

With quiet confidence, ANDRONIS turns towards Italy, carrying its spirit beyond familiar ground and into a landscape of equally profound heritage. It is a move defined by instinct and by courage. One that does not follow, but dares to engage with a place long regarded as a benchmark of culture, beauty and refinement. Tuscany becomes the next chapter, where our philosophy will find a new expression.

Twenty Years, Countless Moments Twenty years is a milestone. But for some of us, it feels quieter than that. More personal. Almost difficult to define.

My connection with ANDRONIS began in 2018, through the group’s magazine. At the time, it felt like a clear, contained role. A world to observe, a story to shape from a certain distance.

That distance did not last.

Somewhere along the way, almost without noticing it, something shifted. What began as an external perspective gradually turned into something more instinctive, more familiar. Because what ANDRONIS creates is not easily explained. It is not just hospitality, and it is certainly not just luxury. It is a way of paying attention. To people, to place, to detail. To the things that most often go unnoticed, yet stay with you the longest. And it always comes back to people.

There are personalities you encounter who quietly change the way you see things. Miltiadis Andronis is one of them. Not through grand gestures, but through a kind of steady reinvention. The ability to move forward, to reshape, to begin again without ever losing the essence. There is a clarity in that, and a quiet confidence that does not need to announce itself.

Around him, a world of individuals who do not simply support the vision, but carry it. You sense it in the smallest moments. In the way something is said, in the way something is offered, in the feeling that nothing is ever incidental. And then there is Giota Giannousa-Andronis. His partner in life, and in creation. A presence that brings a different kind of energy into the ANDRONIS world; instinctive, fresh, quietly dynamic. There is something deeply intuitive about the way she approaches things. Creative, yet never performative. Personal, yet never imposed. Through GiGi by Giota Giannousa, what she has shaped feels less like a brand and more like an extension of her own sensibility. A softer, more intimate layer, but also a necessary counterbalance. A new breath that does not disrupt the concept, but completes it.

Over time, I also watched this ANDRONIS world expand. Paros felt like a new kind of beginning. Not an addition, but a path carefully opened. There was a sensitivity in the way it unfolded, an understanding that you do not arrive somewhere to redefine it, but to listen first.

And now, Tuscany. A different landscape, a different culture, a different rhythm. And yet, approached with the same intent. Not to replicate, but to translate. To carry a way of thinking into a new place and allow it to take shape there, naturally.

Santorini, of course, remains the origin. But even there, nothing stands still. I think of the gastronomic festival; how it added depth to the experience of the caldera, turning it from something you admire into something you participate in. Something you taste, something you remember. And then, the music. Evenings that unfold differently.

Not as events in the conventional sense, but as moments that seem to belong to the landscape itself. Sound travelling across the caldera, blending with the light as it fades, with the quiet anticipation of night. It is not about scale, but about atmosphere. About creating something that feels both curated and effortless at once.

These are the layers that stay with you. The ones that transform a place into something lived, not simply visited. And through all of this, without consciously trying to, I found myself seeing things differently. Not as lessons. Not in any formal sense. But in the quiet accumulation of moments. That, perhaps, is what ANDRONIS has shaped over twenty years. Not just a collection of places, but a way of creating something that lingers, long after you have left.

And somewhere along the way, without ever planning it, it became personal.

Here’s to everything that is still quietly unfolding. To what will be reimagined, rediscovered, and created next with the same instinct, the same care, and the same sense of meaning.

An intimate collection of cliff-carved suites and villas shaped by Santorini’s volcanic contours. Whitewashed curves, light filtered through stone, infinity pools dissolving into the Aegean horizon. Luxury expressed through restraint, precision and atmosphere. From the outset, the vision of Miltiadis Andronis was grounded in something simple yet demanding: authenticity. Craftsmanship. A profound respect for place and for people. Growth, when it came, followed that same discipline. Thoughtful. Measured. Intentional. What began as one property gradually evolved into a wider collection, yet the core philosophy remained unchanged. At Andronis Luxury Suites, the experience still unfolds at a human pace. Morning light shifts across the caldera. Private terraces become personal

sanctuaries. At Lycabettus Restaurant, poised dramatically above the sea and recognised by National Geographic for its extraordinary location, dining becomes theatre without excess. At Mare Sanus Spa, restoration is elemental and unhurried. Around the table at Miltos’ Greek Table, traditional recipes are served with warmth that feels familial rather than formal. Over time, international recognition followed, including being four times awarded with 5-Star ratings by Forbes Travel Guide. Yet awards are only markers. The real legacy of twenty years lies in continuity. In guests who return because something here feels known to them. In teams who have grown within the brand and shaped its culture from within. the island did not present itself as something to be built upon. It revealed itself slowly, through light, through silence, through the elemental contrast of volcanic earth and open horizon. What stayed with him was not simply the spectacle of the caldera, but the deeper atmosphere of the place. A feeling that resisted imitation and instead demanded interpretation.

For many, the act of creating is part of a personal evolution. A response to an internal need that is never quite the same from one person to another. For Miltiadis Andronis, this need found its expression early, long before hospitality became its language. There was an instinctive understanding of people. Of how they move, how they see themselves, how they wish to be seen. Years spent working with fashion, hair, image, and photography shaped a sensitivity not just to aesthetics, but to presence.

Over time, that focus shifted. The frame widened. It was no longer only about the individual, but about the environment that surrounds them. The places they enter, the atmospheres that allow them to become more themselves. The experience of travel began to reveal itself not as movement, but as transformation. And within that realization, a new direction quietly took form. In 2006, Andronis Luxury Suites opened its doors. Not as a statement, but as a beginning. A first attempt to translate intuition into space. To create something that would feel both deeply rooted and entirely personal. From the outset, the intention was clear: to build with care, with responsibility, and with a sense of meraki that would be felt rather than declared.

What followed over the next twenty years was not expansion in the conventional sense, but a gradual unfolding. A series of places shaped with attention and restraint, each one responding to its own landscape.

Across Santorini and Paros, Miltiadis Andronis shaped a collection of destinations that share a common philosophy, yet remain distinct in character. These spaces are experienced through moments that unfold naturally: through a dinner set at one of the island’s most privileged viewpoints, created by some of the world’s leading chefs as part of a Gastronomy Festival first introduced here a decade ago; through the vibes of live music carried across open terraces at sunset, with invited artists performing against the horizon; These are not gestures designed to impress, but to stay. At the heart of this evolution lies a simple observation: people seek places where they can feel well. In this sense, hospitality becomes less about offering and more about understanding. To see guests arrive from different parts of the world and gradually let go of their pace, their concerns, their distance, and simply immerse themselves in happiness.

And yet, no story remains static. Greece, with its layered history and unmistakable light, continues to be central to the identity of ANDRONIS. It is the ground from which everything began. But after twenty years, the question naturally arises: what comes next?

The answer is not a departure, but an extension. In April 2027, ANDRONIS will open a new destination in San Gimignano, within the landscape of Tuscany, Italy. A place equally defined by history, craftsmanship, and a deep relationship to land. The decision is not accidental. It reflects a desire to explore new cultural contexts while remaining faithful to the same underlying philosophy. To move beyond Greece is not to leave it behind, but to carry its sensibility elsewhere. The emphasis on authenticity. The respect for

local character. The belief that every place has its own rhythm, its own voice, which must be listened to before it can be shaped. This new chapter signals something more personal. It reflects Miltiadis Andronis’s desire to take on a new challenge, driven by his love for what he does and for this side of life.

Because at its core, the motivation has never changed. It is grounded in something immediate. The desire to be present in the act of creation. To wake up each day with the same curiosity. To remain engaged, attentive, and open to what can still be discovered. To create places that feel alive. To create moments that stay. And ultimately, to create something that brings a sense of happiness.

A 20-YEAR ART TRIBUTE TO SANTORINI For the 20-year anniversary of ANDRONIS, we gathered a constellation of artists, photographers, visual creators and painters whose work reveals the visual heart of Santorini. Each voice approaches the island differently, yet all converge in a shared sensibility that moves beyond image into atmosphere, memory and emotion.

LIGHT THAT REMEMBERS HIM Tryfon N. Georgopoulos approached Santorini with a ref ined sensitivity to light and composition, revealing the island beyond its familiar image. In this f rame, the sea became a surface of shifting tones, while the sky opened in quiet intensity, allowing light to descend and reshape the landscape. An internationally recognised photographer, and among the f inest collaborators of ANDRONIS, he translated the spirit of the island into a distinct visual language that def ined atmosphere over image.

HIGH ENERGY Lava Horse by AERIENIRTI emerges f rom the raw, elemental force of Santorini itself. The horse, at once symbolic and abstracted, becomes a vessel for the island’s energy, where strength, memory and transformation converge. Behind AERIENIRTI is Irini Drossou Lampraki, a contemporary visual artist born and raised in Imerovigli, Santorini.

AN ISLAND IN COLOUR Between geometry and impression, Sunset by Christoforos Asimis offers a singular reading of an enduring subject: the Santorini sunset.

Presented at the AK Art Foundation, the piece reflects an ongoing dialogue with the island’s artistic identity. Internationally recognised as “the painter of Santorini”, Asimis has devoted his entire practice to interpreting the island of his birth.

Here, the sunset is not simply depicted, but reimagined; an inexhaustible source of form, colour and emotion.

A LIVED LANDSCAPE

Robert McCabe is a photographer who arrived on Santorini before the image became expectation. Working primarily in black and white, he strips the island of excess, revealing its essential contrasts; light and shadow, land and sea.

A living legend of photography, McCabe has spent decades documenting Greece with a rare sensitivity, shaping a visual archive that feels both timeless and deeply human. In this moment, Santorini is neither spectacle nor scene, but a lived landscape, def ined by stillness, labour and the quiet rhythm of everyday life.

CURRENTS OF LIGHT Installed against the quiet intensity of the caldera at sunset, Emigration

by Yorgos Kypris unfolds as a fluid constellation of stainless steel forms, evoking the swift, collective motion of f ish in open water. Set upon a domed surface, the work moves between sea and sky, dissolving boundaries and drawing a subtle parallel between natural rhythms and human presence.

Presented within the curatorial vision of MATI Santorini, the installation becomes part of a wider dialogue; one rooted in observation and shaped by the island itself.

DIRECTOR OF BLUE George Lizardos belongs to that rare category of image-makers who have not simply documented a place, but quietly def ined the way it is seen. Over the past three decades, his photography has shaped the contemporary visual identity of Greece across international publications, hotel narratives and global travel culture.

His images of Santorini, in particular, have moved beyond representation.

They have become part of the island’s mythology. In Lizardos’ work, Santorini is not simply a destination. It is a state of light, a choreography of blue, and above all, a feeling that continues to travel far beyond the f rame.

Often described as a “director of blue”, George Lizardos approaches Santorini not as a landscape to be captured, but as a presence to be revealed. He frames the island through its shifting light and volcanic textures, creating an atmosphere where Santorini is felt long after it is seen.

A TRIBUTE IN BRONZE AND LIGHT Balancing on top of the caldera, where light and wind continuously reshape the horizon, this singular presence marks a quiet tribute within the 20-year anniversary of Andronis. Presented

by Oia Treasures Art Gallery, Going with the Wind, a handcrafted bronze olive tree sculpture

by Valaes, is conceived as a gesture rather than a statement. Installed with a sensitivity to place, the work draws f rom the enduring symbolism of the olive tree while responding to the elemental forces that def ine Santorini.

16 YEARS AT THE HEART OF ANDRONIS In Santorini, where the caldera cliffs turn every arrival into a small expedition, there is always someone waiting at the top or the bottom of the stairs. For many guests at Andronis Luxury Suites, that familiar presence has a name: Besmir Margjoka.

welcoming travellers from every corner of the world, guiding their luggage up Santorini’s famed steps and, in doing so, becoming part of their very first memory of ANDRONIS. As the Group marks twenty years, his story comes to represent something greater than a personal journey. It speaks to the kind of loyalty and quiet dedication that shape a hospitality house over time. For sixteen years, Besmir has been part of the daily rhythm of the very first property, a familiar and reassuring presence for returning guests and new arrivals alike. Today, ANDRONIS honours him as one of its most steadfast and devoted members, a living thread in the story of the Group.

You joined Andronis Luxury Suites in 2010. Do you remember your first impressions when you arrived in Santorini?

Before coming to Santorini, I had already worked in hotels in Rhodes. My brother was living here and he kept telling me about the island, so I decided to come and see it for myself. When I arrived, I realised how special the place was. The landscape, the visitors from all over the world, the atmosphere. I thought I might stay for a season. Instead, I stayed for years.

Sixteen years later, you are still here. What made you stay?

First of all, I truly like the company I work for. The environment has always been very good and the work stable. I also enjoy the daily contact with guests. Every day is different, every arrival is different. And the people I work with are excellent.

Over the years we have become almost like a family, and that makes a big difference.

You have witnessed the growth of ANDRONIS from very close range. How has it changed since those early days?

When I started, ANDRONIS was much smaller. At the time there were around sixteen rooms. Today the company has grown significantly and there are several hotels under the ANDRONIS name. Watching this development from the inside has been very impressive. It makes you feel part of something that keeps evolving.

Your role as bellman means you are often the first person guests meet when they arrive. What is that moment like?

I meet guests right at the beginning of their stay. I help them with their luggage and with anything they need when they arrive or depart. Because Santorini has so many steps and the suitcases can be heavy, some guests jokingly call me “Hercules”. It can be demanding work, but I enjoy meeting people from different countries and helping them start their stay in the best possible way.

Do returning guests recognise you after all these years?

Yes, many do. Some guests have been coming back for ten or even twelve years. When they arrive they ask immediately, “Where is Besmir?” That creates a special connection. It is very nice to recognise them and welcome them again each year.

Looking back, what makes you most proud of this journey?

What makes me proud is that I have grown professionally alongside the company. Seeing how ANDRONIS has developed and knowing that I have contributed, in my own way, to the experience of so many guests makes me very happy.•

unfolds as a quiet, immersive gesture, a cocktail shaped by time, light, and memory above the Caldera. The name itself, drawn from the Greek word for twenty, anchors the drink directly to the milestone it marks: simple, precise, and rooted in place.

Curated by Dimitris Kossaras, Director of ANDRONIS bars, the composition brings together Mountain Bourbon, salted caramel, 20-year-old Vinsanto and a trace of edible gold. Each element is placed with intention. The bourbon introduces structure and warmth, anchoring the drink.

Salted caramel softens the edges, adding a gentle, rounded sweetness that lingers without excess. The Vinsanto, aged for two decades, carries a deeper register; sun-dried grapes, volcanic earth, and the slow rhythm of maturation that mirrors the passage of these twenty years. The gold, almost imperceptible, catches the light in fleeting reflections, echoing the way the Caldera shifts from brightness to dusk.

Served at Lycabettus Restaurant, and at times offered as a welcome drink to guests of Andronis Luxury Suites, “Eíkosi” moves beyond the idea of a signature serve. It becomes part of the arrival, part of the first impression, part of the atmosphere that surrounds the experience. There is no rush to it. The glass is held, observed, approached slowly.

A final detail completes the ritual: an ice cube engraved with the number “20”. As it gradually melts, the marking softens and dissolves into the drink, folding the anniversary into the very structure of the cocktail. What begins as a precise gesture becomes fluid, just as memory does over time.

In this way, “Eíkosi” does not simply mark twenty years. It holds them in texture, in temperature, in the quiet interplay between sweetness, depth, and light. •

In this interview, Giota Giannousa-Andronis speaks exclusively about the vision, emotion and personal narrative behind her GiGi by Giota Giannousa brand.

Your latest GiGi by Giota Giannousa collection translates the landscape of Santorini into a hand-drawn visual narrative. When did the island evolve, for you, from a place into a language of design?

It wasn’t a single moment, but rather a gradual shift. Living within the rhythm of Santorini, I began to see its lines, contrasts and light not simply as scenery, but as a visual vocabulary I could interpret and express through design.

The print brings together Cycladic architecture, stairways, bell towers, sea views and bougainvillea. How did you decide which elements of the island would become part of this wearable narrative?

I chose what felt emotionally essential. Not just the iconic symbols, but the details that carry memory, the curve of a staircase, the shadow cast on a wall, the softness of bougainvillea. Many of these elements come from moments gathered over the past twenty years, which makes the collection feel like a visual archive of that journey.

The collection appears in different colour interpretations, from the iconic Santorini blue to softer, more neutral tones. Do these palettes reflect different moods of the island, or different expressions of the GiGi woman?

Both. Santorini shifts throughout the day, just like the woman who wears GiGi by Giota Giannousa. The blues convey clarity and strength, while the neutrals express calm, intimacy and a more understated elegance. At the same time, they mirror the evolution of GiGi by Giota Giannousa over the past twenty years, from bold beginnings to a more refined and layered identity.

Santorini today is almost a global image rather than simply a place. During the design process, did you feel the need to reclaim the island’s authenticity and reinterpret it through your own perspective?

Yes, very much so. Santorini is often viewed through a global lens, but I wanted to translate it through my own lived experience, something more intimate, more honest and less expected. After twenty years, it felt important to express a more personal narrative of the island.

The capsule includes resort wear, swimwear, bags and accessories, designed to move within the rhythm of a holiday destination. When you design these pieces, do you imagine the full journey of the woman who wears them?

I see it evolving in a very organic way, expanding into new categories, meaningful collaborations and destinations that share the same sense of place, culture and refined simplicity.

Volcanic soil, limited water, constant exposure to wind and sun. What grows here does so under pressure, and that pressure defines everything that follows. Flavour is not constructed later in the kitchen. It is already there, formed slowly, long before it reaches the plate.

ANDRONIS works within this reality without attempting to smooth it out. The relationship with the land is continuous, moving from cultivation to sourcing and then into the kitchens, without interruption. What is grown, what is selected, what is served, all belong to the same line of thought. In the gardens and through close collaborations with local producers, ingredients retain their original character. Santorini tomatoes, white aubergines, capers, fava. They are not treated as raw material to be reshaped, but as starting points that already contain their own structure. This becomes evident across every expression of dining. At Throubi, that connection is immediate. The proximity to the garden defines both the menu and the pace, with dishes shaped by what is available at that exact moment.

There is little separation between outside and inside, between cultivation and preparation. At Lycabettus,

the same ingredients are taken further, not away from their origin but deeper into it. Technique becomes a way to reveal additional layers rather than to transform them into something unrecognisable. Even at its most refined, the reference point remains the island. Elsewhere, the approach shifts in tone but not in essence. At Miltos’ Greek Table, tradition carries the same ingredients into a more familiar register, where flavour relies on memory as much as on technique. At Lauda, that continuity extends across time, holding onto a way of cooking that has always been tied to what the island provides.

Within Andronis Arcadia, the setting opens up, yet the foundation remains unchanged. Whether through the more relaxed energy of Pacman or the contrasts introduced at Beefbar, the experience still traces back to the same landscape, the same raw materials, the same conditions that define them. Wine completes this relationship. Tastings and vineyard visits do not function as separate activities, but as another way of understanding the same environment. The soil, the wind, the method of cultivation, all become part of what is ultimately tasted in the glass. Nothing stands alone. Each restaurant, each dish, each ingredient forms part of a wider continuity that begins with the land and returns to it. ANDRONIS does not reinterpret Santorini as much as it stays aligned with it, allowing the island to remain present at every stage. What the guest experiences, in the end, is not a collection of distinct dining moments, but a gradual familiarity with a place that reveals itself through taste. •

The island’s viticultural language remains until today singular. Low-trained vines, woven into the protective «kouloura», cradle their fruit close to the earth, shielding it from the relentless meltemi winds and the glare of the Aegean sun. What appears austere at first glance reveals remarkable resilience.

Assyrtiko, taut and saline, carries the imprint of pumice and sea spray with chiselled precision. Alongside it, Aidani offers lift and fragrance, while Mavrotragano brings depth and structure, completing a spectrum that is unmistakably Santorini. At ANDRONIS, this legacy is interpreted with discernment and intent. Under the direction of Sotiris Kandylis, Director of Wine, the cellar has evolved into one of the most considered collections in the Aegean, numbering close to 1,900 labels. The emphasis is not on volume, but on dialogue: between vineyard and plate, between heritage and contemporary gastronomy, between guest and sommelier. Each bottle is selected as part of a wider narrative, one that unfolds across tasting menus, private pairings and conversations that linger long after the final course.

For those wishing to explore beyond the table, curated wine journeys reveal the island’s deeper strata. Visits to leading estates trace the arc from vine to bottle, illuminating the distinct microclimates and philosophies that define modern Santorini. Among them, Hatzidakis Winery stands as a thoughtful expression of continuity and care. Located primarily around Pyrgos Kallistis, at elevations of 100 to 300 metres with a south southeastern orientation, the estate has championed organic cultivation since 1997. Sandy soils, naturally free of

phylloxera, allow for self-rooted vines propagated through traditional pruning methods. The vineyards remain unirrigated, nourished instead by composted organic matter and tended through mechanical cultivation and minimal intervention. Winemaking unfolds within a cave-like cellar, where stable, naturally cool conditions reduce energy consumption and allow fermentation and ageing to proceed with measured precision. The architecture echoes Santorini’s vernacular forms, embedding production within the landscape rather than imposing upon it. It is a philosophy that privileges balance over manipulation, clarity over excess.

Back at ANDRONIS, the experience culminates in moments of rare intimacy. A private tasting at Lycabettus Restaurant, poised above the caldera, is reserved for one couple each evening. Guided by a seasoned sommelier, guests move through a sequence of considered pairings, Greek flavours reframed with elegance, wines allowed to speak with nuance against the vastness of the horizon. Her sensibility was shaped early on through her studies in French literature and the years she spent in Paris, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for nuance, elegance and cultural depth. This influence remains evident in her work today, where each piece and each space carries a quiet, intentional refinement.

While her main professional focus lies in real estate, where she operates with clarity and long-term vision, fashion is what she describes as her “love job”. Through GiGi boutiques and her personal creative direction, she explores a more instinctive and emotional language, one that allows her to express rather than simply respond.

The name GiGi itself is deeply personal, drawn from her initials, Giota Giannousa, a subtle yet meaningful signature that reinforces the authenticity behind the brand. GiGi boutiques were conceived within the world of luxury hospitality. What did you feel was missing from the typical hotel boutique when you first imagined them?

I felt there was a lack of personality and emotional connection. Many hotel boutiques felt transactional in nature. I wanted to create a space that reflects the spirit of the place and offers pieces with meaning, almost like a curated extension of the guest experience.

Your personal label, the GiGi by Giota Giannousa, feels more intimate and expressive. How different is the creative process when you design under your own name?

It is far more instinctive and personal. When I design under my own name, I allow myself to be more open, even vulnerable. The process is less about expectations and more about what I feel and wish to express in that moment.

Running boutiques, building a fashion brand and being involved in the broader world of luxury hospitality requires a particular mindset. What has been the most unexpected skill you have developed along the way?

Learning to trust timing. In the beginning, I felt the need to move quickly and respond to everything at once, but over time I realised that not everything needs to happen immediately. There is a rhythm to growth and to creativity.

Over the past twenty years, I have come to understand when to act and when to step back, when to push forward and when to allow things to evolve naturally. That awareness has proved invaluable, not only in business but in the way I approach decisions more broadly.

You describe your philosophy as “Find your major self”.

Is style, in your view, a way of revealing identity or of inventing it?

I believe it is about revealing. Style already exists within us; it is simply a matter of recognising it. It is a process of discovering and refining who you are, rather than trying to become someone else.

Hospitality is about crafting experiences, while fashion is about shaping identity. Where do these two worlds meet for you?

They meet in emotion. Both are ultimately about how you make someone feel. My main profession is real estate, which has taught me to understand space, structure and longterm value, while fashion is my love job, where I express something more instinctive and personal. Whether it is a space or a garment, the intention is the same: to create a sense of belonging and confidence.

Many entrepreneurs speak about balance. In reality, your life seems more like a constant composition between roles: founder, creative director, mother, collaborator.

How do you keep that composition harmonious?

I see it more as a flow than a balance. Each role requires my attention at different moments, and I have learned to accept that shift rather than resist it. What keeps everything harmonious is staying connected to my values and being clear about why I do what I do.

Luxury today is shifting away from excess and towards meaning. How do you personally define modern luxury?

For me, luxury is authenticity, time and intention. It lies in pieces and experiences that carry a story and create a genuine emotional connection. In the end, it is not about having more, but about feeling more.

It is always special to preserve these memories through objects we carry with us; objects that remind us of the beautiful and unique moments we have lived. The more extraordinary the moment, the more precious the object that keeps it alive over time. The creation of Andronis Fine Jewellery was born from precisely this idea: to offer visitors a handcrafted Greek piece that will forever remind them of the most special journey of their lives.

Santorini is a place full of light, colour, and energy. How does the island influence the aesthetic of Andronis Fine Jewellery?

It is true that Santorini is a place of light, colour, and a distinct energy. It is also true that it has a unique aesthetic that makes it one of a kind in the world. Our jewellery follows this

philosophy. Vibrant gemstones, designs that break away from traditional jewellery forms, and a distinctive aesthetic that merges simplicity with the craftsmanship Greek goldsmiths have perfected and passed down through generations, while also embracing a modern approach to classic jewellery making techniques. A place where frescoes depict jewellery dating back more than 3,000 years can only be a continuous source of inspiration for us.

Which precious stones do you believe best capture the soul of the island?

Santorini is a living island, one with a character of its own; one that changes several times within the same day. Those fortunate enough to visit can sense the shifts in energy surrounding them, as though the island itself has a mood that profoundly influences the emotions of those who experience it. With this in mind, more than one gemstone can be said to capture the soul of the island. When the blue of the sea reflects against the white of the caldera, Aqua Marina, sapphires, and blue topaz seem the most fitting choices. As the island’s mood shifts and the early evening hours prepare to give way to the world’s most famous sunset, deep orange citrines, Imperial topaz, and Canary diamonds take centre stage. Then, there is another side of the island—one shaped by the winds of the Aegean, where the white crests of the waves stand against the backdrop of black volcanic lava. Here, white and black diamonds echo the interplay between the landscape and our memories.

We have the rare privilege of not having customers; we have only Friends. And for us, every single one of their stories is unforgettable. People who travel from the other side of the world to acquire unique jewellery; pieces that we have worked on together for months, imbued with deep meaning for both them and us. Equally moving is the bond we build over the years; the privilege of witnessing a couple from distant Asia seal their commitment, a pair from America renew their wedding vows, or a family choosing us to be part of their most beautiful moments. Each of these stories is just as important and unforgettable to us. Like our jewellery, these relationships have been forged with love. • THE SPIRAL, A TIMELESS SYMBOL OF LIFE IN MOTION, GROWTH, EVOLUTION AND CONNECTION ACROSS GENERATIONS. To me, the spiral is a timeless symbol of life in motion: growth, evolution and connection across generations.
