Emme started working at Parkhill four years ago She is currently our Care Supervisor, but before joining Andrews she worked as a supervisor and before that a teacher while in the Philippines

Having lost both her parents, she finds comfort working with the seniors at Parkhill

“I don’t have any parents I miss them every day,” she said “I find my comfort here at Parkhill It always makes my day ”

When she’s not at work, Emme keeps busy spending time with her two-year-old daughter help fellow team members, offer advi coaching She’s ama with our residents a always goes the ext mile to make sure they feel special She’s one of a kind and we are fortunate to have her at Andrews of Summerside

Jalene started working as a caregiver at Andrews of Summerside seven years ago Prior to joining our team, she was upgrading her education at Holland College with the goal of becoming an LPN

She’s passionate about senior, finding the work rewarding

“They’re so happy, appreciative and loving,” she said of the residents

When she’s not at work, Jalene enjoys relaxing with her two kids.

Initially, she intended to be an early childhood educator, however after her grandmother got sick, she changed plans and started studying nursing She took the LPN program at Holland College and, after spending a summer working at Andrews, chose to make senior care a career

“I enjoy just getting to be a part of their lives,” she said of the residents. “It’s like being part of a family ” ers We are lucky er. e started working usekeeper at ws of Stratford in 2022 Prior to joining ou team, she worked on th front desk at the Quality Inn

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her two children, watching movies and, when she’s able, travelling Her favourite places to travel are Utah and Las Vegas.

In her experience, Andrews is one big family “I really enjoy the atmosphere,” she said “Everyone is super friendly. I really like how everyone really cares about the residents ” When she’s not at work, Shianne keeps busy spending time with her four kids and tending to her event décor business Shiny Custom Designs y

Prior to joining our team, she worked as a PSW in Ontario and, prior to that, as a nurse in her home country of India

For Gurpreet the best part of her day is spending time with our residents

“I like to give them care, ” she said.

Outside of work, Gurpreet enjoys spending time with her friends and family
