Bishopric Message To the Camden Ward family, I have been pondering on what message to share with you, and after having some wonderful tithing settlement interviews with families and individuals, and as we begin yet another financial year, with carbon tax now upon us, job redundancies, rising bill costs, I humbly suggest that you consider a food storage cupboard, start or continue a savings account, furthering education for the prospect of a better, and secure job. And to always be a "cheerful giver" with your tithing and other donations. May I also share with you 2 quotes from church leaders, "Whether early in life or late, we must all eventually learn to discipline ourselves, our appetites, and our economic desires. How blessed is he who learns to spend less than he earns and puts something away for a rainy day" (N. Eldon Tanner, "Constancy Amid Change," Ensign, Nov. 1979, p. 81). "No matter how much or how little we have to live on each week or month, it needs to be used wisely. We need to decide on a budget and live within it. Relief Society Message Hi Sisters, We hope you're enjoying the school holidays, I'm certainly enjoying the lighter traffic :) If you want some beautiful music to listen to Mormon channel has lots of episodes of "music with a message". They have different topics eg "grace", "optimism, cheerfulness", "praise" etc.. They are lovely :) and free to download. The music is by Mormon Tabernacle Choir and other artists like Michael McLean.

Their timely counsel applies more now in these "perilous times" and I hope you may evaluate your current circumstances and see what needs to be done so that you, your family may be prepared spiritually, physically, financially, to face any trials / challenges that you may encounter.
