Chords at the Dell ULI Hines Competiton, 2014 This winning development proposal, Chords at the Dell, capture Nashville’s culture of music to transform the Sulphur Dell neighborhood, which is anchored by the new Sounds ballpark. Role included team lead, urban and landscape design, and selected graphic production for presentation boards.

Graduate Capstone Studio, 2013

W FRANKLIN ST

A Study of the Howard Street corridor was conducted as a graduate capstone studio to evaluate redevelopment efforts on the West Side of Baltimore. Pop-up businesses were explored as a place making strategy within the context of a residential development capacity study. Contributed urban design, design and administrative strategies for pop-up businesses, and graphics.

Central Campus Vision NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, 2012

This proposed addition to Goddard’s masterplan guides investment in building renewal over the next few decades to create a compelling vision for their connection to a central open space. Stormwater features inform future building sites and pedestrian pathways while streamlining road circulation and parking. The design plans for resiliency and increased frequency of rain events by implementing campus-scale stormwater chains.

An old steam plant is utilized as a place making feature on a dynamic retail street with streetcar service that brings metro riders to the rivers edge.

Planting Design Neighborhood Design Center, 2011

A renovated parking lot for the nonprofit group Community Forklift incorporates vegetated swales and a public gathering space. This planting plan was drafted for the Neighborhood Design Center to advocate for funding.

A median strip in Langley Park planted as part of the Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative for Prince George’s County. The design utilizes both native and nonnative species suitable for the harsh existing site conditions. Some selections such as Chaste Tree and Chokeberry are being tested for future plantings in road medians.

Glen Arden Veterans Memorial Neighborhood Design Center, 2012 This memorial space honoring the veterans of Glen Arden is designed to accommodate both annual ceremonies and everyday use as an extension of existing greenspace. The planting design re-enforces a sense of enclosure and transitions from formalistic to sweeping woodland plantings.

Brains on Fire: Hyattsville Neighborhood Design Center, 2013

Design of a vacant auto repair shop in disrepair began as a community charette. The resulting design solutions were evaluated and combined to produce a cost-effective and high-impact renovation to attract retail and artist studio tenants. Contribution included the graphic design of outreach materials, selection of charette proposals, 3d modeling, and rendering.

College Park TDDP Design Collective, 2013-2014

The updated College Park Transit District Development Plan goes beyond the vision of M Square as a research park to include a mix of uses that complement future transit options. Contribution included design, development and production of graphics.
