internship as design assistant in the competition area of the studio. It has been followed different projects at different design scales. In three months I followed projects for two international competitions from the concept to the final submitting. I worked from the metropolitan scale to the executive design of the detail element, and I had an interesting view on landscape architecture that helped me to increase my architecture knowledge. KODHYNKA PARK / MOSCOW (1st prize) Project at Land srl
The project is about the new Kodhynka Park in Moscow, instead of the old abandoned airport. The project is made at Land with the collaboration of Mario Cucinella for the architectural pavillions. I took part to the design team as a design assistant and I worked on part of the project with creative ideas, and drawings. In particular I have studied and designed the territorial strategy and the urban connection of the park, studied as an important area for a future green plan for Moscow. Moscow The project is based on the idea of art as part of the landscape, also due to the presence of the new contemporary art museum of Moscow. So the park is an infrastructure but also a recreative area where nature is merged with music or lights. The music and the sound are part of the concept and they become design elements of the park.
The project is the winner of the international competition for Kodhynka Park, at which took part many international architecture firms. NEW IFC / MOSCOW (1st prize) Project at Land srl
The International Financial Center in Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye is a 460 hectares mixed-use development project located in “New Moscow” in the Zakharkovskaya floodplain of the Moscow Outer Ring Road. The project involves the construction of offices, housing and hotels, as well as commercial and social infrustructure. The guiding principle behind the plan is the “Urban Landscape Flow”, which is tailored to the particular location of the project site and its integration into the city’s green space and open space system.. In view of its unique location in a both natural and urban environment, the project area on the river Moskva and its surrounding landscape offer the opportunity to develop a new International Financial Center which combines high-class urban qualities with attractive landscape
features. The design of open spaces is based on the Green City guidelines as part of a sustainable and forward-looking urban development. The Green City approach will enhance Moscow’s ttractiveness: It involves careful management of resources such as the city’s soil, water and air and maintaining the diversity of its flora and fauna.
Land team: Andreas Kipar, Susanne Gombert , Andrea Govi, Marielle Neuser, Michael Treutwein, Roberta Filippini, Ottavia Franzini / Kornelia Keil, Tatiana Nemova, Cecilia Ricci.
Views of the project
The vast, flowing landscapes envisioned in the draft take account of the unique location of the project area on the river Moskva. The result is a new, changing, moving landscape: the Fluid Landscape. The Moskva river bank represents the delicate interface between the city and the surrounding landscape. It links the future urban fabric with the ecosystem of the river, sensitively moderating the interplay between these two space bodies. In a strong spatial and contextual dialogue between the landscape and the river, the “Fluid Landscape sends three rays like green arteries from the river bank into the urban core of the design plan.

FLOATING ZIP / NYC Navy Yark Project for NYIT Workshop
The project is born with the water raising of Sandy. The idea starts from a real and pragmatic necessity to become visionary and utopistic. The concept to defend New York from the water is based on the natural and historical behaviour of the area. Navy Yard has always been a place in between the land and the sea, many times water transformed the area. Following this fact the project is more based on the times and the speeds than on the volumes. The area is slowly colonized by modular structures that can be placed and removed for different necessities. In this way the project becomes a measure of the place. The architectural elements can move, they flow and fly along the riverside of Manhattan.

Brooklyn tende quindi a sgretolarsi e tante sue molteplici parti vanno a colonizzare Manhattan creando spazio pubblico dove incontrano la città esistente. Tuttavia possiamo
ripensarle come oggetto dinamico, componibile e trasformabile.

Bachelor thesis project and theoretical analysis about the fourth dimension in architecture and the future of the architectural volume as a moving element. The analysis starts with the architecture of Frank Gehry and the futurist movement to end with the project of a responsive installation in Rubattino for expo. The installation is a pavillion in a masterplan where the volume moves with music. If the volume is high the cover goes high and if the volume is low the pavillion is smaller. The cover becomes an example of a new moving architecture that adapts to human needs and activities. The research starts with the analysis of futurism as a break through movement of the culture of 19th century and the analysis of Gehry’s work as an example of the fourth dimension in architecture. Pesaro Smart lighthouse
1st Young Architects Competition - special mention
The challenge was to think something new for harbor area in Pesaro. We want to design a public area that tranforms the harbor in a facility for citizens and an attraction for Tourists on boats. The form is based on some fluxes where take place public activities: activities about water as acquarium and wellness, about culture as auditorium and theatre and some private spaces like shops and restaurants. The fluxes ends to the extreme limit of the harbor where they become a sort of lighthousewich is a strong new landmark for Pesaro. The new landmark is not a normal lighthouse, use by boat to find the harbor but it creates a connection between people and sea. Boats can see the lighthouse from the sea but also people can observe sea from a public terrace on the lighthouse. With: Luca Gallizioli, Antonio La Marca, Lorenzo Grecchi, Alberto Giacopelli 22

Project for the rethinking of Rubattino Barrack in Milan, made at MIAW 2014 workshop. With prof. Antonella Contin, Michele Moreno, Michael Schwarting and Giovanni Santamaria from NYIT. The idea is to create a shelter in an abandoned place to save culture and huanity from the violence of the suburban neighborhood. The existing wall become a metaphor of salvation and hide activities that bring people to the area from all the city. The area is divided into two parts, an underground one which is completely closed to the city and marked by a field of tanks that symbolize the past of the area as barrac and show to people the tragedy of war. Under this area there is a library and a war museum. The other area is open and collects people from the city, it is an auditorium and a park, but also the gate to the UnderShelter. 24
Geographical context Path in the city
The Ecostructure project implements a new superimposed structure to the city of Milan which enriches the biodiversity serving both men and animals likewise.
connection with existing buildings and public places. For this reason we employed the metaphor of the parasite that conqueres the space providing niches for biodiversity and human interaction.
In the history of our cities we can find a lot of different scenarios, which reveal the schizofrenic relationship of our built environment with nature: On the one hand cities are created to include nature employing the benefits of green spaces and using animals for our purposes, whereas on the other hand we need distance from it to be safe from its dangers and threats. The proposal for the Ecostructure is based on the believe that coexistence of men and nature can be achieved by the balance act between expedient proximity and indispensable distance by means of the superposition principle: human activities on the lower levels and habitats for animals on the upper ones where both spheres fade into each other. The Ecostructure growes along a predetermined axis through Milan adapting to the given circumstances in the urban fabric, which can result in detachment but also in direct physical
The Axis The mentioned axis which presets the route of the Ecostructure is derived from the idea to create an opposing system to the existing axis of Sempione, which represents a series of spaces and buildings in Milan that are related to the political past and the cultural presence of the city.Placing the Ecostructure perpendicularily to Semprione axis, the project urges, in contrast to the cultural axis, for a new idea of the city, which includes not only antropocentric considerations but also the aspect of biodiversity. The proposal comprises apart from the general rules for the parasite structure a series of spatial solutions for significant “foci f.e. Piazza Duomo, Torre Galfa, Viale Luciano Gioa etc. along the new axis, that connects two important ecosystems of Milan - the Naviglio della Martesana and Naviglio Grande 26
Parameters Grasshopper script
Different behaviour of structure
These loci are the result of an extensive analysis which was conducted using indicators for antropocentric and biodiversity aspects in order to determine the qualities and deficits as well as the urge of intervention along the Ecostructure. Structure and Functions The structure is based on a repetitive system of steel frames and rigid nodes that follows the analogy of a tree to produce a system that dissolves skywards with branches that split according to the specific ratio of the Fibonacci series. In terms of featured functions the ecostructure hosts a broad range of activities serving animals, as well as men by means of four spatial modules, that are embedded into the general construction described above. These modules are: horizontal boards providing a ground to move, rest, sit etc.; shells to collect and contain water and soil; boxes giving shelter and protecting from the weather and finally the tube as a formal variant of the box allowing a better surface-volume ratio. In more general terms the modules and the structure create a complex system of various scales from the size of a butterfly up to the biggest animal in Milan, the human being. Masterplan and focus

Consonno Cultural Center Project for a ghost town
Consonno is a ghost town near Lecco and Milan, in the north of Italy. It was born as an Italian “Las Vegasâ€? in the 1960 on the ruins of a medieval town, destroyed to leave the place for hotels and Casinò. A landslide in 1982 destroyed the road to reach it and started the decline of the place, that now is in ruins, but still used by people. People use Consonno to make photos, to explore nature, to make art in a total freedom. We think a new landslide for Consonno, which will bring it to the man again, but in a good way, according to nature and art, the natural activities of Consonno. A good landslide that creates space for relations and activities, not a building but a natural movement of the mountain. A new idea of architecture, based on freedom, relations, nature, different uses of space, fits to Consonno, that used a landslide to defend itself from man and now can use a landslide to allow him. 36

Social housing building in Copenhagen
Dwelling project for Building Technology Studio about Social Housing in Copenhagen. The project starts from the concept of the lightness in the construction and from the perception of light and landscape in Northern countries. The proposal is a reinvention of a overused typology that tries to react to the context to create public space. A relation between the Uglass transparency and the metal paths is created. The private and intimate space softly fades into the public space. At the middle of the project a square is created, for social relations and vertical connections of the project. Then the project is analized with a technical point of view, focusing on technological details of the construction.

Final Project of workshop Responsive morphologies
The idea is to think architecture in relation with the people who live it. Architecture exists only if there are people in it, because people perceive it and give it a sense. The project is about a responsive cover that follows people. A system of sensors and the possibility of moving of the elements permit the cover to follow people. The place is a public street. A pedestrian walk that it is an open space when there are no people in it and it becomes a covered space when a person walk through. This project is possible with parametric architecture and in particular with Grasshopper. The motion and the perception of the position of people is permitted by the dialogue between Grasshopper and Arduino, a tool that permits to have a prototype of the project and to study phisical attributes like movements or light. The form of the project is one of the multiple hipotesys, we tried
to investigate the idea and its possibility with the simplest form. Prof. Attilio Nebuloni Prof. Maximiliano Romero Ing. Giorgio Vignati With Antonio La Marca and Alberto Giacopelli

Urban scenography for Traiettorie Festival 2015-2018
This is a proposal for a urban scenography for the contemporary music festival Traiettorie, organized in Parma by Martino Traversa and Associazione Prometeo. The festival is one of the most important contemporary music event in Italy and it proposes concerts and music for three years. The need was to have a scenography that could express the complexity of contemporary music to new generations and common people, and at the same time to regenerate some places and to promote forgotten beautiful places in the city. At the same time the organizers of the festival wanted to make a gate and an attraction for Expo 2015 visitors. We propose to create some urban installation that begin from Teatro Farnese and then spread into the city, changing the existing image of the places and connecting them with new responsive technologies. Theatre Performance for Malocchi e Profumi
WHY THEATRE IN AN ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO? Directing and writing a theatre performance is a process very similar to an architectural project. It changes only the scale of the work. But as architecture theatre changes the life of a group of people for a while.
“Uno spettacolo emozionante. La tragedia shakespeariana analizzata in modo anatomico, ridiscussa, scomposta e messa in scena da un gruppo di giovani coraggiosi.” Il Resto del Carlino - Forlì “Un Otello senza Otello. Tutto ruota attorno al personaggio che non c’è e rende più intensa e scarna la tragedia. Scritto diretto e recitato da giovani forlivesi, bravi e sfacciati.” Romagna Corriere
Omissis has been the first theatre performance which I have written and directed. The concept comes from the Othello by Shakespeare. The fundamental question of the performance is: can exist an Othello’s tragedy without Othello? The project has been done with the theatre company “Malocchi e Profumi” and had a great local success. Omissis has been an adventure but also the first approach to an architectural space which I completely designed and realised, in the minimum detail.
