ell Woman Radio will become The Well Woman Show with Giovanna Rossi, but will maintain the same focus on women’s health and wellness. Giovanna Rossi is the executive producer and host of The Well Woman Show. Her sister, Cristina Parry, a 25 year BBC Radio veteran, is the producer on the show. The Well Woman Show with Giovanna Rossi is part of a larger project called Well Woman Life. “When women and girls are healthy, successful and thriving, the community as a whole thrives,” states Rossi. “Well Woman Life supports women to achieve their highest level of fulfillment and well-being.” In addition to continuing to air on KUNM 89.9 FM, the show will also have a larger presence on iTunes. The next show will air July 10 at 8 a.m. on KUNM. Seven Steps to Reduce Tension and Trauma

alu Integrative Health and Wellness has launched a TRE (Tension, Stress and Trauma Release Exercise) workshop series to teach individuals exercises that help the body heal from the effects of stress and trauma. Taught by Mari Lyford, workshops will be offered monthly with weekly classes beginning this fall. Integrative workshops are held at a Northeast Heights Albuquerque Yoga Studio and locations in Santa Fe when available. TRE is a series of seven simple therapeutic exercises that can be done at home to reduce the effects of tension and trauma, improve mind and body resiliency, reduce pain, and increase mobility. Developed by Dr. David Berceli, TRE is a self-help process being used by thousands of people around the world as an effective tool for releasing chronic traumatic stress, physical tension, and emotional trauma. Mari Lyford is a Licensed Master Social Worker, Level 2 TRE practitioner, yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. Trained in Integration Based Stress Reduction (IBSR) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), she also has a background in clinical cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation working as an exercise specialist.
