When a bank building was renovated in Szabadság tér, the designers persuaded the owner to recreate the wooden entrance of the one-time “Budapest Workshop”, a designer furniture shop from 1913. When the bank was later merged with another Italian bank, the then owners seem to have tired of the homeless problem, and commisioned this primitive (but affordable) metal barrier.
