Art News from Around the School and Around the World…
And the “Art Star” of the Month is... I’m happy to announce that the “Art Star” award for the month of September goes to Hunter S. (Rm. 117). Please assist me in congratulating Hunter for all the hard work, creativity, and independence that he has shown over the past month. Hunter’s “Butterflies” painting is shown at right. Additionally, his painting was chosen to be included in a new collection of Noteworthy Cards. For more info see Page 2 of this issue of The Andersonian.
The Colors of Fall In celebration of Autumn, students created a variety of Fall themed projects that were on display for all to see during this year’s Harvest Festival (Oct. 19th).

New Noteworthy Cards I am happy to announce that some new Noteworthy Card designs will be coming out soon. The new package of cards have an “Insect” theme, and will include “Bumble Bees,” “Dragonflies,” “Ladybugs,” and “Butterflies.” As with the our past card designs, they display the artwork of ACA students on the front and are blank inside. Each package, once again, will contain four different card designs and there will be two of each design (total of eight cards in each pack). A package of cards can be yours for a donation of $10.00. Trailer Project Continues Art Department has been working with the Transition Department to continue the Recreational Trailer Painting project that was started earlier this year. In the most recent outing, the Art Department and the students and staff from AEC’s Vocational Program added “Pine Trees” to the landscape already painted on the trailer.
