Garmin ZUMO 550 The ZUMO is a rugged piece of equipment as you would expect from Garmin. It is weatherproof (IPCX7), impact-resistant and fuel-resistant. Many features proof that motorcyclists were involved in its design. The ZUMO‘s TFT touch screen with particularly large buttons is also easy to operate with gloves. The functions buttons are located on the left-hand side perfect for use on the motorcycle so that the most important functions are always available at the press of a button such as map detail zooming. SirFstarlll technology guarantees maximum reception and perfect position calculation using the City Navigator NT NavTech street data that is fully preinstalled on the ZUMO 550. Use the ZUMO to navigate your way through Europe and plan your motorcycle journeys or the included MapSource PC software. The track memory enables alternative trips to be recorded in detail. A special feature of the ZUMO is that waypoints and routes can be stored on the optional SD data cards directly, no computer required. Because of the built-in battery you will need no external power sources making the ZUMO the perfect off-road navigator.
