Karina Chertkova [SHEPENGUL] (b. 1997) is a young artist from a small town in Siberia. Since 2020 she has been living and working in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She works in the direction of magical surrealism. In her art she explores themes of the mystical and the mundane, trying to connect and disconnect these two aspects of life simultaneously.
