SHAPER MANDREL This industrial-type ball bearing component shaper mandrel can save you hundreds of dollars by enabling you to build your own shaper. Mounts securely with four bolts to any frame (wood or steel) and is safety engineered at speeds up to 9,000 R.P.M. Changing cutters and setups take valuable time and over a period of months, you could pay for this mandrel with money saved by having a shaper for each of your operations. OPTION: ROUTER BIT ADAPTER FOR #2500 SERIES SHAPER MANDRELS We machine the top of the shaper spindle with special threads to accept a threaded collet chuck. Comes complete with collet nut and one 1/2” and 1/4” collet adapter. To use spindle as a shaper, you must remove threaded chuck so shaper cutter can slide on spindle.
