sixteen:nine International Film Festival (SNIFF) is an annual two day short-film festival for students. SNIFF is the first student organized International film festival in Mumbai. It is an initiative taken by the students of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal's (SVKM) Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management and will take place on the 12th & 13th of January, 2009.

sixteen:nine International Film Festival came into being with the objective of catering to the global student community's increasing demand for something unique in the field of filmmaking. It offers this niche audience the kind of cinema it is yet to experience. Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management also has a film society

named sixteen:nine Film Society. The film society aims to bring together college students from all over Mumbai to promote and encourage world cinema.

Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management comes under the dynamic public charitable trust of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). The Trust, with 24 educational institutes under its wing, has worked hard to provide quality education since 1934. Some of the most noteworthy institutes under the SVKM banner are NMIMS University, N.M. College of Commerce, Mithibai College and Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management amongst others. Being one of the latest establishments, our college offers undergraduate courses in upcoming fields like Bachelor of Mass Media (B.M.M.), Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc.I.T). Ever since its inception, it has zealously encouraged student participation in extra-curricular activities.
