WELCOME Dear Colleagues, It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the third annual YTA Technology Leadership Awards. The GTA is a hub of innovation. Within the YTA membership and broader GTA technology community, we regularly witness the emergence of remarkable new products, services and ideas. The individuals and companies behind these successes position this region as the centre point of technology in Canada. This year’s Technology Leadership Award nominees form a very impressive group. They have demonstrated innovation in their product offerings and business operations, overcome challenges in a less than perfect economy, and built successful companies that are continuing to experience significant growth. These inspirational leaders deserve appreciation and acknowledgement for their incredible achievements. Their guidance and drive help to strengthen the tech industry as well as our regional economy while serving as the cornerstone of our technology community. The Awards provide us with an opportunity to recognize a few of the many leaders in our sector. This year, the selection committee had the very difficult task of narrowing down the finalists from a list of over thirty impressive nominees. Today, we recognize nine of these companies for their accomplishments and dedication to building successful businesses and becoming true leaders in their sector. Congratulations to you all.

John Kitchen Vice President & General Manager, Esri Canada Chair, York Technology Alliance

THE AWARDS Community Building The YTA started 30 years ago with an idea – to create a community where technology leaders can build networks, share expertise, and learn from peers. To bring this idea to life, the YTA relies heavily on the very generous participation of volunteers who give their time, talent, and expertise to the development of the programs that build the YTA community. In fact, every year the YTA benefits from nearly 10,000 hours of volunteer time from senior executives and leaders from our local tech community. The Community Builder Award recognizes a YTA member that has demonstrated a passion for the YTA and its community. They are committed to creating valuable programs, building networks, and evangelizing on behalf of the Alliance.
