Arriving at St Bede’s – The Start of Term You should arrive at the house at 3pm on Monday, 5 September 2022. You will be warmly greeted when you arrive at the house by me, Mrs Edgar, Matron, and the Head and Deputy Heads of House – a real welcoming committee! You will be shown to your room and there will be time for you to organise and arrange your room, removing any empty cases and trunks to the trunk room in the attic. After a brief introduction from me, your parents will say goodbye and go to the Abbey Church for a welcome from the Head and prayers with the Dean at 4.15pm. Your parents will not return to the house but go directly home after this. Day girls will be given their own space to work in and to store their essential school items. Whether you are a day girl or a boarder, you will always be expected to keep your area tidy!
