Irish Left Review Journal is published twice a year and is available through Irish bookshops and online at the Irish Left Review website. Its as it's name suggests, an Irish leftwing magazine but it places an emphasis on an critical examination of the Irish capitalist economy and the class system with a particular emphasis on how the 'middle man' style of Irish capitalism operates. Other forms of social inequality are explored in depth too, such as gender and race. It's a platform for long-form, well-written and researched non-academic analysis for political activists and workers. ILR supports original creative writing, as each issue includes a number of poems and short prose pieces by new and established writers.
