Freshly Made Bread For Sale 10am-4pm Buy and try the famous bread made in the wood fired ovens at the Derwen Bakehouse.

Victorian Portrait Studio 11am-4.30pm Have your picture taken in period costume at MossVernon's Photographic Studio. Charge applies.

Green Babies

Wedding Fayre

Thu 1 March, 10am-5pm Come and listen to the beautiful sounds of the harp. Warm up with a bowl of traditional Welsh cawl at the museum restaurant and enjoy a complimentary Welsh Cake.

Sun 4 March, 11am Share ideas on how to give your baby a greener start at Tyˆ Gwyrdd.

Sun 25 March, 11am-4pm View our unique and beautiful venue, fully licensed for civil ceremonies and receptions, along with a full range of wedding suppliers and stalls to help you plan your special day. In association with Val Slater Weddings

World Book Day Thu 1 March, 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm Weird and wonderful stories about the Tudors.

International Women's Day Thu 8 March, 3pm-4pm To celebrate International Women's Day we'll be asking the question: "How did they do it?" From Romans to Tudors, to the Free Love generation we look at women's attitudes towards sex and reproductive health through the ages. Suitable for 14 years+.

Braids from the Past

Mi Generation Tue 10 & Wed 11 April Young people from South Wales explore the everchanging lives of teenagers across the generations. This insightful and imaginative bilingual show has been inspired by visits to the Museum, and conversations with parents and grandparents.

Miniature St Fagans – Constructing Model Buildings

Nature Activities Mon 9-Wed 11 April, 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm Watch live nature cameras and take part in nature games and activities in the nature den in Oriel 1.

David Wright, will demonstrate how you too can produce convincing model buildings from scrap or materials that are easy to obtain as well as being easy on the pocket!

Wed 11 & Thu 12 April, 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm Learn some ancient skills that you can use at home

Wales Biodiversity Week - Bat Count South Wales Lace Makers Sat 9 June, 10am-5pm Drop in to see the bobbin lace makers demonstrate their craft and celebrate their 30 anniversary.
