Junior Science Club

This club is to provide young scientists in Years 4 & 5 with the opportunity to carry out a variety of interesting experiments. The emphasis is on variety and fun. Maximum number of pupils is 10 and places are allocated on a first-come firstserved basis. Year 4 - Michaelmas & Trinity Terms Year 5 - Lent & Trinity Terms

Senior Science Club

Netball

Netball club is open to Year 3 to Year 8. Pupils can expect to spend time playing a range of positions in competitive match play as well as practicing their shooting skills, passing and movement off of the ball. In the older year groups coaches will look to include more aspects of tactical play through the use of set plays all aimed at improving pupils’ overall skills set in the sport.

Flute Choir

Flute Choir is an ensemble of flautists from pre-Grade 1 standard upwards. The repertoire is drawn from classical music to film and musical medleys.

Junior Choir

This group is available to all pupils in Years 3 and 4, offering instruction in reading music, voice production and public performance. Performance opportunities include termly Junior Choral Evensongs and Charity Day Concert.

Senior Choir

This choir is available to all pupils in Years 5-8 who enjoy singing. No audition is required for admission to the choir, although a placement into sections based upon vocal range will be made early in the Lent Term. No prior experience or musical study is assumed for new members of the choir. An intermediate choir with performance opportunities including termly Choral Evensongs, Charity Day Concert, Christmas Events and Harvest Festival.

Trampolining

Trampolining club is open Year 5-8 and has limited numbers each half term. This club is an introduction to basic trampolining including how to stop safety and bounce accurate.

Pupils will be taught basic shapes such as tuck, pike and straddle, seat landings, twists and front landings. These skills will then form the basis for pupils to choreograph their own, personalised 10 bounce routine.
