7th Grade Math Projects (MS) 7th Graders are learning math concepts with creative board games made by them. Ms. Carolina Martinez´ math classes are doing equations board games in order to learn the equations process. What a great way to learn!

5th Grade Mini Field Day to sponsor Special Olympics Honduras (ES)

Elementary School students were invited to help Olimpiadas Especiales Honduras by participating in a Mini Field Day organized by the 5th graders, as part of their Social Responsibility activity. All the funds collected will go to sponsor the athletes that are going to Abu Dhabi to represent Honduras in the Summer World Games.

AST’s Movie Night (Global Issues Network Club) Families had a wonderful time at AST’s Movie Night ‘‘Bee Movie’’ sponsored by the GIN (Global Issues Network) Club.

GIN students and advisors work closely with environmental sustainability and the protection of the bees. Our Dining Hall catered this successful event!

AASCA Soccer 2019, Panama Train Your Dragon 3. went to Panama to represent our school in the AASCA Our AASCA Soccer teams It was an incredible morning for our students!

Soccer tournament. Both girls and boys teams did an outstanding job in the tournament fighting every game like champions. Congratulations to the Athletic Department for their hard work, and to our students for their dedication.

S.H.H. Educational Trip to Spain (HS) Members from Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (S.H.H), and I.B. Spanish, went on an educational tour to Spain. They visited the Real Academia Española, Miguel de Cervantes’ house, IE University, and many other cultural and academic places.

Howard Gospel Choir Workshop Our Honor Choir was invited by the U.S. Embassy to attend the Teatro Manuel Bonilla to participate in a workshop offered by the Howard Gospel Choir (HGC).

Formed on the campus of Howard University in 1968, HGC is a body of students, alumni and community members, with a legacy of over four decades committed to excellence in music ministry.

Alumni Corner María Isabel Simón (2009) Alumna María Isabel Simón is a young psychologist that is starting her career with great success. Mari, as her friends call her, graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After that, she went to Nova Southeastern University to get a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2015. She worked for more than two years in Aventura Hospital in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor Intern, until she decided to come to her country and opened NeuroFit. NeuroFit is a psychological clinic where medical and advanced programs are used with the latest technology in the field of mental health to maximize the functioning of the brain.

For her academic excellence, Maria Isabel has received a Lifetime Membership Achievement Award from the International Honor Society of Psychology, Psi Chi and Delta Epsilon Iota, The Academic Honor Society. There is no doubt Maria Isabel is going to have a lot of success and you can follow her in her social media (FB & IG) @neurofithn ! #ProudEagle #GoEagles
