Just how strong are they anyway? Ever wonder about how powerful a dog team is? It takes roughly 1 stager for every 2 sled dogs to safely escort the team to the starting line. Once there, the stagers hold the team steady until the musher is ready to go. The Dog Derby staging crew consists of the St. Anthony J.C.C. and other volunteers. A hearty thank you to the Staging Crew. You’ve earned it!
