The Kaiser Permanente Latino Association (KPLA) is a Business Resource Group (BRG) that strives to address disparities in healthcare and in the workforce.

KPLA MISSION Our commitment is to the delivery of affordable, quality health care. Our mission is to attract, inspire, support and retain Latinos to achieve their full potential at all levels within the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program, thereby enhancing our ability for shared success.

Be the health plan of choice by provide the most compelling value for our diverse populations and communities.  Supporting Kaiser Permanente service and business initiatives for membership growth and quality health care.

Build equity through businesses and jobs and promote diverse and thriving communities aimed at increasing spends with Latino owned businesses.  Supporting approved Latino vendors when hosting events and when making purchasing orders.

IMPLEMENTING KPLA INFRASTRUCTURE CARE / COMMUNITY Transforming Care Delivery Be the leader in Latino Health. Develop and promote thriving divers communities by providing the best care and service for all populations to eliminate disparities and create equity.  Supporting Kaiser Permanente outreach to the Latino community and serve as champions and ambassadors for Latino health.  Funding student scholarships

Be the model for Business Resource Groups internally and externally by creating and maintaining and information infrastructure that supports the transferring of knowledge, the awareness of available resources, and the sharing of best practices.  Utilizing technology to streamline communication and maintain chapter cohesiveness across the Northern California region.
