In our toxic world, we are constantly bombarded with chemicals in the foods we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. There are a number of toxic substances that are known to cause significant health problems and unfortunately the concentration of these toxics in our environment continues to increase. The underlying cause of many health problems can be associated with prolonged exposure to various toxic agents in our environment including heavy metals and synthetic chemicals. When our pathways to remove these toxics become overloaded, toxics accumulate and interfere with normal functions of the body. This is when we start to exhibit symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, muscle pain, indigestion, constipation, and poor concentration. Our health status depends on our ability to effectively eliminate these toxics. Therefore it is important to have optimal functioning detoxification systems.
