Who Are We
We were created to worship God, make a joyful noise, serve the Lord with gladness and sing in His presence. Singing creates a feeling of joy, and our worship of God places value on who He is, and there is a sound that produces a pure, authentic, contagious noise that draws people to the heart of God. Audition Process
New team members may audition at any point during the quarter; however, they will not be scheduled to serve until the following quarter.
This intentional waiting period allows them to:
• Observe how the team functions.
• Get familiar with our culture and expectations.
• Determine if this is the area they truly feel called to serve in.
During this time, they are encouraged to attend team gatherings, shadow current team members, and review all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Completion of these SOPs is required before they can begin serving on the platform in the next quarter.
This approach ensures that each team member is well-prepared, aligned, and confident in their role before stepping into active service.
Attending Rehearsals
New member will attend the first three rehearsals as an observer. Upon the fourth rehearsal the new member will join the team on the platform to be observed as they actively engage with the team.
Communication
During the observation period
Communication will be sent via text regarding rehearsal times and other information. After completing initial rehearsals requests and fulfilling the audition process, the member will be added to GroupMe and Planning Center where all communications will resume .
No Cracks- if your pants require a belt, please wear one to eliminate the need to pull up and adjust your clothing and avoid unnecessary revelations.
No Cleavage - Avoid low cut tops or garments that reveal your chest area. Men included No Skin -Refrain from sleeveless attire. Short sleeves are fine but sleeveless dresses or tops should be accessorized with a jacket, sweater or cover of some type.
Attire
Knee Length or Longer- No shorts/miniskirts. Dresses/skirts should fall at least knee length.
Be Relevant – Modesty with flare; Cool hats(fedoras), ripped or holey jeans, tennis shoes are ok, uncombed hair, wrinkled clothing and an unkempt appearance is not.
Nothing Tight: Tight or revealing clothing can be a distraction. We want to convey a positive image of the house. Men make sure pants aren't tight around private area.
Stay Flexible- We are not fashion Nazis and want to stay relevant with the times while still showing up on platform the way we want God to see us.
