Kurt’s & Vreny’s cuisine can be best described as American Continental with a European flair. We have often been labeled as a German Restaurant, but prefer to be known for our more Modern German Cuisine. We have a wide selection of fresh seafood, pork, lamb, beef, and veal. Not only are we Gwinnett’s Premier Fine Dining Restaurant, but we are also Gwinnett’s only full service restaurant. We have recently merged the two dining rooms and still offer several exclusive banquet rooms, and private dining areas scattered throughout. We aim to provide our customers with the freshest possible food and a unique dining experience surrounded by both European charm and Southern hospitality. Owner Kurt Eisele is as diverse as his restaurant reflects. He arrived in this
country with his wife in 1965 with dreams of bringing his European influence to the kitchens of Georgia. Twenty years later, after working in some of Georgia’s most renowned restaurants, he opened Kurt’s and began his quest to bring the finest and best cuisine to not only Gwinnett, but to all of Georgia. After many awards and high praises, Kurt’s continues to be dedicated to this cause. Today, 25 years later, Kurt’s offers a multitude of selections to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. We are now celebrating our 21st Anniversary at our present location at River Green and are excited to bring both restaurants into a new relm of culinary satisfaction. Kurt and his wife, Vreny, invite you to discover dining at Kurt’s for unprecedented food and service. Wow! What a great meeting we had at Duluth Fine Wines on Peachtree Industrial, a packed gathering and great information from Chris Glenn Sarver McGahee. There were lots of new guests – keep inviting and get the word out about your association. Every year the DMA donates money to the Duluth Community Scholarship fund. The scholarships are available to all seniors that attend DHS. This years presentation was on May 18th. Speaking of volunteers, you are needed to assist with DMA’s upcoming 5-K race. We traditionally do this on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. John Monk awaits your Volunteerism. Summer is here and lots of parties and get togethers, remember to promote your local businesses and talk about the great things happening around Duluth. Our speaker will be Phil Kuban from FranNet, http://www.frannet.com/pkuban. Phil will be talking on the buying & selling process of businesses and the advantage of when and how to prepare for it. Franchising Expert and Broker Phil Kuban has been involved with the franchising industry for twenty years and has a very diversified background, having been both a franchisee and a franchisor. Based on his experiences, Phil founded FranMax in 1987, a brokerage and consulting company developing such franchises in the Southeast as Mail Boxes, Etc., Moto Photo and Sylvan Learning Centers, to name a few. Collectively, Phil has helped over five hundred investors start franchised businesses, the majority of which were first-time buyers. He specializes in franchise resales, helping owners value and sell their existing businesses and building value for the franchise system in the area. Phil started his career with 3M Company and held various sales and marketing positions. He first became exposed to franchising while working at 3M, when he built a distribution network of Energy Control Centers. He recognized early on that franchising is the best choice for most people seeking to own their own business. Being in business for yourself is better if youâ€™re not in business BY yourself. Phil graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BS degree in marketing. He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife Susan, who is a professional portrait painter. His daughter Leslie is his partner in FranNet; his son Scott attends Kennesaw State University.
