We are having some great meetings with great host locations, food and speakers. We have wonderful events planned for the remainder Glenn Sarver of this year. Clear the calendar and commit to getting involved. Your DMA Board is working very hard to make the Duluth Merchants Association the best it has ever been. Please continue to offer your suggestions and invite – invite – invite – invite guests. Then invite them to join DMA. Coming in October, we have booked the world renowned speaker – Dr. Robert Rohm with Personality Insights. More information will become available. Summer is here and lots of parties and get together, remember to promote your local businesses and talk about the great things happening around Duluth. I am available 7 days a week so if you can’t make it to the meetings, please call, I would like to get to know each and every DMA Member! You are what makes DMA Great! On July 6th, Jorge Valentin-Stone will speak on the SBA program and services, which will include an explanation of our “Loan Guaranty Program.” Our July meeting will be at Full Circle Restoration. Last week I became certified to do mold testing and learned the valuable reasons to have companies like Full Circle do the clean up and repair work. See ya soon,

Member Notes

Taste of Costco Day Host a “Taste of Costco Day” at your office – at no cost to you. Try some of Costco members’ favorite Deli and Bakery items without leaving your office. We bring everything to you…including a special offer for all your employees. Costco is excited about the opportunity to conduct a special tasting event to introduce you, your employees and even your members and clients to Costco. If you have 15 or more employees at your location, we can set up in your breakroom or office over a couple of hours, making it easy for everyone to have a chance to attend. Events are designed specifically around your company and what Costco benefits would be most valuable to your employees and clients/members. In addition to the great food, we will bring along information on the benefits of having a Costco membership, as well as offer your employees a special incentive to join Costco that day. Additionally, we can renew memberships, upgrade current memberships and offer “The Gift of Costco” memberships for your employees’ shopping needs.

Please contact Christy Gwyn directly at 404-915-3687 or e-mail Christy at or to learn more about this exciting opportunity to show appreciation to your employees, clients and friends.
