SOUTH ELEVATION The concept was to use cubical form for minimalism and to differentiate between the public and the private spaces by providing the guest room and architect’s office at the ground floor and shifting the family area such as bedroom etc. at the first floor so the family could have a private space.

The building is designed keeping in mind the orientation of the sun and the wind movement,also provided with open corridors having waterbodies along the path. Feature walls are provided for asthetical purpose and also wooden jaalis along the corridor for cross ventillation.


VILLAGE STUDY Second Year Programme

SITE Rasanheri,Punjab

DOCUMENTATION Study of the social and physical environment and methods of construction in Vernacular/Rural architecture,emerging out of the traditional way of life of the people in the village. Rasanheri was the hub of supply and trade of ‘Rashan’ of nearby villages,hence name Rasanheri was given. The village was divided into two parts-Badi Rasanheri and Choti rasanheri.Choti rasanheri is more urbanised with all the vernacular elements conserved within the houses. We chose this village because vernacular architecture of punjab is well developed by elements such as arches,brick jaali,ornamentation,courtyard planning etc. which can be seen in this village.

GURDWARA- It is spread across an area of 9600sq ft. The gurdwara ha worship area,store house,hand pump,hand wash area and toilet for men and women.

PRIMARY SCHOOL- The school is spread across a large area having open spaces and have science lab and workshops equiped with lattest tools and technology.It has kitchen serving Mid-day meal.

This house has L-shaped planning and made up of bricks ,concrete,mud mortar and lime plaster.the house has open spaces and ornamented projections for placing decorative materials. The house was completed in two phases and is serviced with two sided drainage system.


INTERIORS/CONCEPT

These are some of my work that i have done side by side for others or for my designs. I have great interest in making 3d models of my projects or others on 3d softwares. So i spend my free time making my projects or helping my seniors in there work.

This is another house that i designed with the help of my seniors.

This is the interior of one of the rooms that i proposed for children in my design of architects own house. This was not in the submission but i designed for my own interest.
