Colorful Writing is more than a journal.

It is also a great way to learn more about color. Take time to step back and write about all the colors that you see on an everyday basis. How do these colors make you feel? How do these colors work together to bring you in or push you away from a product or an event. Intermixed in this journal are four lessons on color. Each lesson is explained at the beginning of the section. Use this journal as a way to express yourself and expand on your knowledge of color.

Complimentary Colors

Colors opposite to one another on the color wheel. When the colors are side by side, they make each other appear brighter. In this section, note the complimentary colored smoke eects.

Color Transparency

The ability to see through a color. When a color is layered ontop of of another color, the overlap appears as another color if the top layer is transparent. Look in this section to see the most notable transparent eects of yellow overlaying blue, red overlaying yellow, and red ontop of blue.
