Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union 01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamics, positive energy and solidarity are the values that the logo symbolizes. It presents Poland as a modern, young-spirited country initiating positive changes in Europe. The author of the presidency logo is Jerzy Janiszewski - author of the world-wide known logo of "Solidarity" which has become the historical symbol of the Polish way to freedom and democratic changes in this part of the world.
