About DivX® DivX® is a codec (software) programme to compress moving images while maintaining image quality using a highly advanced compression ratio and operating speed.
Touch [WIDE]. Each touch changes the display modes as follows: Wide Cinema Normal Wide Wide: In Wide mode, the monitor displays a normal picture wider to fit in a wide-screen monitor by evenly stretching out the picture horizontally.
• Official DivX® Certified product • Plays all versions of DivX® video (including DivX® 5) with standard playback of DivX® media files • DivX, DivX Certified, and associated logos are trademarks of DivX, Inc. and are used under license The unit can play back CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/ DVD+RW discs that are recorded in the DivX® mode with extension “avi” or “divx”.
The optimum size for DivX® disc playback is as follows:
Cinema: In Cinema mode, the monitor displays a normal picture by stretching out the picture horizontally and vertically. This mode is good for displaying a cinema type picture at the 16:9 ratio.
Screen Size: 32 to 720 pixel (horizontal) × 32 to 576 pixel (vertical) With an aspect ratio other than 16:9, black bars may be displayed on the left and right sides, or at the top and bottom of the screen. Image bit rate: “average 4 Mbps, Peak 8 Mbps” Home Theater Profile supported
The following audio recording systems are supported. MPEG1 Layer II MPEG1 Layer III MPEG2 Layer III Dolby Digital
64 to 384 kbps 32 to 320 kbps 8 to 160 kbps 64 to 448 kbps
About ASF Normal: In Normal mode, the monitor displays a normal picture at the centre of the screen with a vertical black band at each side.
ASF (Advanced Streaming Format) is a file format developed by Microsoft to deliver streaming synchronised data of a wide variety (animation, audio or text, etc.) via networks.
