Our Vision of Ink

Literature in today’s world is suffering a severe setback. We fear that a time may come when there will be no one to express a situation or the feelings of our generation. Two major reasons behind this are: It’s considered very difficult or next to impossible to become a good writer, since there exist very few platforms for it. There is no clear cut path through which a person who wants to pursue their passion of expressing feelings and situations through words can consolidate a career in it. - Extinction of local traditions and languages have taken with them many essence or colors and way of representations which are now getting lost each day. “As many as half of the world's 7,000 languages are expected to be extinct by the end of this century; it is estimated that one language dies out every 14 days. Endangered languages, much like endangered species of plants or animals, are on the brink of extinction”: Quotes national geographic. We should ask ourselves a question that what is lost when a language goes silent? Consider for example the language Maithili (in Indian subcontinent) which once had famous poets like Vidyapati; today I can bet that 50% of you would have even not heard about this language. Many of the traditional languages or the vernaculars are dying a slow death because of the speakers turning away from them. This is taking a serious toll on our linguistic diversity as well as constricting our choice of words for expression which is creating a great gap between people from different geographies, making us “less humans” Our Next goals in direction of our vision #Establishing the culture of feedback and collaboration, wherein a expert in one subject of literature can help a budding one to know, correct and move forward while taking competition in positive way. #Making the knowledge of literature and skill to express well available to everyone at minimum price. #Making the community sustainable while paying out to members on the basis of their contributions and establishing a full time team for behind the Ink of change at regional, national and international levels. #Instead of metro’s where exposure is much, going down and establishing our chapter at places where there’s much need. #Preserve local culture and tradition by recording, staging and socializing regional languages, so that we don’t lose out our voice in which we are most comfortable and expressive. Thereby, establishing 20 regional chapters in next 2 years and over 50 in next 3 years. #Making it a global phenomenon by which people can express and record their stories in language they are comfortable. Thereby, establishing 10 global chapters in next 3 years. #Launching certifications for writers so that they can be recognized if they want to monetize their skill in field of entertainment and content. #Developing market place for all that stuff that stinks Ink.
