NUTRITION. Nutrition is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the materials necessary to support life. Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with a healthy diet. The foods you eat provide the energy your body needs to function. For have a good nutrition we need vitamins and minerals. The vitamins and minerals you get from your diet are just as important as carbohydrates, protein and fats, even though you only need them in small amounts. They usually function as co-enzymes, which mean they help some of your body's chemical reactions happen a lot faster.
Staying healthy includes a balanced diet, staying clean, getting plenty of exercise as well as keeping your heart strong and free of drugs. People who practice good nutrition, hygiene and exercise patterns develop a lifetime of habits that will keep them healthy for many years. Especially when they are older!
GOOD NUTRITION. There are three basic rules you should follow to have a good nutrition: 1. Variety 2. Balance 3. Moderation Variety means that you should include different kinds of food on your diet. Balance means that you must eat the right amount of food from all levels of the food Pyramid everyday. Moderation means that you are careful not to eat too much of any kind of food.
Itâ€™s important to have a good nutrition because you will have the correct calories to do everything you will. You will be using the necessary food to use your body and also good nutrition gives you a good balance of your body and diet.
BAD NUTRITION Bad nutrition is conformed by junk food specially, junk food has too much calories, more calories that you need, that make fat in your body that is completely unhealthier. The term junk food refers to foods high in calories, unhealthy fats, sugar and salt but low in valuable nutrients like complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals. Snacks and dessert foods like candy, potato chips and ice cream, as well as fast foods like hamburgers and french fries, all fall into this category. While the occasional junk food meal won't ruin your health, consistently eating junk food contributes to serious health problems.
This can cause weight gain, cardiovascular problems, insulin resistance, etc.
EATING DISORDER Generally, eating disorders involve self-critical, negative thoughts and feelings about body weight and food, and eating habits that disrupt normal body function and daily activities. One of these can be anorexia that is about people who don’t eat nothing for don’t be fat. Bulimia, it’s an eating disorder that makes people to purging after eating.
Having a bad nutrition cause sometimes death, and can cause you a disability.
REMEMBER: Healthy eating does not have to mean giving up foods you like best, just learn to balance the food choices you make. You can enjoy snacks and meals while still keeping yourself in good health.
