The Donald E. Davis Arboretum at Auburn University is a nature park which houses plants native to the Southeastern United States. The Arboretum is used as a research and educational facility by staff and students to study and observe plants in their natural habitats. Currently, there does not exist an enclosed building on the site. This project was to design an educational center created mainly out of wood. Our program included two classrooms, office space, an outdoor gathering space for larger events, and a gallery space in which research and projects would be displayed.
