The stale hospital air filled my nostrils as I awoke slowly. I blinked my eyes open, once, twice. My eyelids felt heavy as though I had been asleep for very long. I lifted my gazed and saw my family crying. I stood up, felt my bed but my body remained on it. Was I dead?
