Concept: for this project, we were asked to create a cultural building next to an existing leisure center, currently under-performing due to its inconvenient location. My idea was to create a new square which will work as an anchor point for the citizens, a landmark, a point of reference. Therefore, people would be attracted in the area for their evening or weekend hobbies as both buildings can offer extracurricular opportunities. Also, for the theater I designed a screen to perform as the back facade which is lit throughout the day, catching the eye of curious passers by and luring them inside.
