JUN as family and friends fondly call him describes himself as a husband, father, teacher, friend and a vibrant individual. While not working, he teaches Math, Science, Bible and TLE to his kids who are all enrolled in a homeschool program.

Reasons Why We Call Him

Our Cool Dad, Super Dad • He puts the families’ interests as his priority • Teach the kids: ★ Respect for parents and love for brothers & sister ★ Importance of BELIEF, HONESTY, EDUCATION, HARD WORK, FOLLOWING RULES, RESPECT TO PEOPLE, and KNOWING HOUSEHOLD CHORES • He is a friend and a protector of the family

• Kids are not given what they want, they have to earn it (reward) or work for it • Punish the kids as needed (i.e. can’t play favorite game for 2 weeks) • Not exempted in doing household chores • Loves cooking for the family • Loves cool gadgets which he shares / gives to us :) • Travels with family • Good provider

• Loves Mom and advises to do the same to their future families • He has very good sense of humor; comedian/clown of the family • Diplomatic • Set goals and plans accordingly • Teach the importance of saving, investing, spending the money wisely and living within means • Gives regular speeches about eating what is on the table and avoiding leftovers because many are getting hungry all over the world :)

According to Wikipedia, Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in many countries and on other days elsewhere. It complements Mother’s Day, the celebration honoring mothers.

Did you KNOW? n Roman Catholic tradition, fathers are honored on March 19, the Feast Day of St. Joseph. Father’s Day is not observed throughout the world. Most countries observing Father’s Day celebrate it every 3rd Sunday of June. The first Father’s Day was celebrated in June 19, 1910 in Spokane, Washington to honor Sonora Smart Dodd’s father who raised his 6 children alone when his wife died in childbirth. Father’s Day was officially proclaimed a national holiday in America in 1966 by Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson while the observance of Father’s Day every third Sunday of June was decreed by law in 1972.

Happy father’s day to all the great Dads i know most especially to: ★ my husband Jun, ★ Dadilo, ★ my brothers - Kuya Dayo, Kuya Pepe, Kuya Rommel and Edu and to my brothers-in-law Kuya Sonny, Ihos, Noel, Elmer and Brian ★ all my cousins and friends ★ and of course, to TATAY, who had been a wonderful father when he was still alive...

Make everyday a father’s day.

Father’s Day 2011 To celebrate Father’s Day this year, the kids thought of creating a simple artwork explaining why their dad is their hero. It is also their way of thanking their Dad and showing him how much he is loved and appreciated. River Arliss According to River, he considered his Dad as his hero because he is the breadwinner of the family. His Dad works so hard to provide for all the needs of the family. Whenever there is trouble and someone is in need, his Dad is always ready to help. Above all he teaches them how to become good and God-fearing children. He thank his Dad for being his hero.

WHY MY DAD IS MY HERO Rain Allisha For Rain, his Dad is a hero because he takes care, loves and protects her and the whole family. His Dad shows his love and care by always telling them what is right and wrong and how to become good citizens at an early age. She feels so protected, because as the only daughter, her Dad will always remind her that she is not allowed to go out alone. Rain also finds her Dad funny and sweet most of the times but also gets mad if they are not good. Whenever she is depressed, her Dad always cheers her up by making jokes. He also helps her when her younger brother is annoying her. Her Dad cares a lot for the whole family and he always buys something the things that they ask for. Because of these, she always try to be a good girl and show his Dad how much she loves him. Rajan Ashvin Ashvin explains that he loves his Dad and considers him his hero because he always makes their life comfortable. FATHER’S DAY STORY

! ! ! ! ! A little girl & her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter: 'Sweetheart, pls hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.' The little girl said: ' No, Dad. You hold my hand.' 'What's the difference?' asked the puzzled father. 'There's a big difference,' replied the little girl. 'If i hold your hand & something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.’
