ยง 3.06 Indictment and information not evidence

A bill of information [indictment] is only a written, formal accusation against a defendant charging him [her] with a crime [one or more crimes]. You are not to consider the bill of information [indictment] as evidence against the defendant[s]. You may not infer guilt from the mere filing of a bill of information [indictment]
