After a three year hiatus, we’re back with an absolute bang! We’ve been building up for the party of the year for Nottingham’s younger people and their adults. We’re buzzing to be working with some brilliant local venues, some of the best of Nottingham’s artists and a street entertain ment programme bursting with vibes. We’ve got Cardboard Cities, a Silent Disco, Big Fish Little Fish raves and a chance for you to perform in our very first Open Mic session at Blend. Come and join,

There’s no strict age limit on this one, so bring the whole family. Babies are right good at blowing raspberries after all. (Ages 3+) Come join percussionist and New Art Exchange regular Biant Singh in discovering the positive power of music through interactive rhythm. Helping parents be responsibly irresponsible since 2013. These events are as much fun for the grown-ups as they are for the kids, bringing creative, anarchic and downright daft vibes for the whole family to enjoy. Party sensations Big Fish Little Fish are bringing their award-winning, critically-acclaimed family rave back to Young Hustlers! Playing everything from old-skool rave to club classics and everything in between, you and the kids can bust some moves on the multi-sensory dance floor before strutting your stuff in the parachute dance finale.

Young Hustlers first ever Open Mic hosted by the funniest poet around, Ben McPherson. Anyone under the age of 18 is welcome to come down and flex their creative skills, read a poem, spit some bars, sing a tune, or blast an instrument. Ben will also be bringing you some of his family friendly nonsense poetry. (All ages welcome)
Inspire Youth Arts will host the Blend stage again this year, from 13pm, with a range of performances by some of Notts' brightest young musical talent. The show will feature artists from their hugely successful eNGine Room label, as well as bands and ensembles to singers and songwriters from across Notts. (All ages welcome)
The Community Music Organisation Network brings together Youth Music funded music making projects in Nottingham. They are Nottingham Music Hub, Pythian, Raw Talent, Offshoots, SEND Project, Hellcats and CAN (Beatknots Project). The partnership develops collective skills, resources and knowledge, creating sustainable musical progression routes for young musicians and music professionals. Come and check out some of the ridiculously talented young people they are working with. (All ages welcome)

A gentle and relaxing session for parents, carers and their babies, where both parents and carers get to have a go at flying too! Babies can lay or sit in the aerial sling and be rocked, swung or have a gentle spin. Parents or carers can have a stretch and try their own aerial moves. The sessions are very relaxed with songs, movement and sensory play for babies. It's a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to explore, play and connect with their babies and their own bodies. (Ages 0-2)
A fun aerial and move session for toddlers and parents. Little people can sit, climb, swing and rock in the aerial equipment. Everything is hung very low and there are lots of bouncy crash mats! We ask that parents supervise their toddlers on the equipment. (Ages 2-7)

This year we have an allocation of FREE tickets to offer to families with low incomes and may not be able to afford tickets.
