THE GRANGE - REDESIGN RESPONSIVE WEB // MOBILE FIRST // REBRANDING This website redesign was a group project assigned in my Interactive Architecture & Content Design class. The projects objective was to focus on mobile first. I was in charge of the web layout and content for the home page as well as redesigning the restaurant’s menu. I decided to go with a modern & edgy home page. Therefore, we created a user friendly website that is easy to navigate through.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ Didot is a name given to a

group of typefaces named after the famous French printing and type producing family. The classification is known as modern, or Didone. The typeface we know today was based on a collection of related types developed in the period 1784–1811. Firmin Didot cut the letters, and cast them as type in Paris. His brother, Pierre Didot used the types in printing. His edition of La Henriade by Voltaire in 1818 is considered his masterwork.

This poster contains the classical font, Didot along with traditional colors, with modern alignment of the lettering.

AZOTO -320 (FOOD TRUCK CONCEPT) BRANDING // PACKAGING // IDENTITY This design of a food truck is an original concept, along with a creating brand identity. Azoto stands for nitrogen in Italian. The food truck has a modern and futuristic style, serving molecular gastronomy recipes, which is made with liquid nitrogen. The truck has a simple, clean design, with scientific colors, along with an inviting, fun atmosphere.

DESIGN WITH EMOTION - HIGH FIDELITY WEB MOCKUPS EMOTION // RESEARCH // REBRANDING The goal of this project was to create a web mockup design for The Rock Paper Scissors Children Fund. The focus was to design the mockup with emotion, something that doesn’t seem “mechanical”. I included strong imagery and person text to go along with the pages to show emotion. The design is structured, clean, and easy to read through, while conveying the emotional element specified by the client. Photos were provided from the client.



DESIGN FOR GOOD - CONCEPT, BRADNING, & IDENTITY MOBILE APP // PRINT // IDENTITY // BRANDING // PROMO VIDEOS Creating something that has a good cause always feels nice. The objective was to focus on branding and designing an organization/campaign for a good cause. This design and concept goes with todays society. The idea of this project was to create an app based on a timer. The longer your phone is set faced down, along with the timer ticking away, the more money is donated to adoption agencies. Therefore, the money is used to take the children outside of the orphanage, such as a park or the beach. They get to enjoy a moment, while you do too. For the app, I went with gender neutral colors, to target to any audience. The design is modern and sleek, with an easy use of interface. The Alan Shawn Feinstein Technology & Design Center (FTDC) provides students with the opportunity to work with real-world clients on a wide range of team-based projects from print design to Web design and development. Through the Graphic Design and Digital Solutions course, student teams learn about the communication challenges faced by community-based and other nonprofit organizations. Student teams then use what they have learned from their curriculum to address the particular needs of their clients, and faculty provide guidance to the students over the course of two academic terms. In the process, students gain valuable leadership, communication, active listening and professional presentation skills as they manage projects from conception to the delivery of the finaldesign. The Alan Shawn Feinstein Technology & Design Center at Johnson & Wales University is supported through a gift from The Feinstein Foundation.

During the academic year, students from the FTDC provide no-cost assistance on Web and graphic solutions to community-based and other nonprofit organizations. In keeping with JWU’s commitment to the integration of theoretical and academic learning with hands-on, real-life experience, these students assist their clients by creating finished, ready-to-launch products. This is a group project for my Design Solutions Team class. We were assigned to design, brand, and code the Feinstein Technology Design Center at Johnson & Wales University in Providence RI. My group and I designed our own web mock ups, and my mock up was chosen for the development of the website. After the layout was chosen, we starting coding, HTML & CSS. All photography is original.


TYPOGRAPHY BOOK PRINT // PHOTOGRAPHY // BOOK BINDING This typography book was assigned in my Typography class. The projects objective was to create a typography book about the history of type, including original imagery, along with a strong layout design. I used acetone for the cover of the book and the back. Green, natural, and environmental friendly; the book is pure, well balanced, and clean. All photography is original.


CURRENCY DESIGN PRINT // RESEARCH This is a redesign of the U.S. currency with a twist. The dollar bills are designed to make you think before you hand your money, asking yourself “is it really worth buying, knowing what these people have been through to make this shirt?�. The images provide a sense of what these factory employees go through, along with dull colors to set the mood of the images. The images were chosen from a stock-photo site.


STORY TELLING VIDEOGRAPHY // STORY The goal of this project was to create an engaging video about somone the audidence knows nothing about. I acheived the goal by capturing the character in action. FEATURE EDITORIAL DESIGN PHOTOGRAPHY // TYPOGRAPHY // PRINT For this project I was responsible for conceptualizing, designing and prototyping a feature editorial design for a standard 8 3/8� x 10 7/8� magazine. I was able to pick any article on the web and base my entire design off it. The article is about why men either pick short or tall women. I figured the main target audience for the article to be women, so I went with fun colors, and playful mood for the photography. All photography is original.


STORY TELLING VIDEOGRAPHY // STORY For this project I was responsible for writing a script, storyboarding, capturing and editing footage that documents or showcases a process or tells a story.
