Alexis Laurentʼs “LʼOeuf #1” on Display at Tripoli Gallery in the East Meets West on the East End Exhibit Curated by Leila Heller of LTMH
September 8, 2010 – Alexis Laurentʼs “LʼOeuf #1,” part of Laurentʼs large scale Fabergé egg sculpture series will be on display at the Tripoli Gallery of Contemporary Art in the East Meets West on the East End exhibit from September 1-29, 2010 at 30A Jobs Lane, Southampton, NY. East Meets West on the East End is an exhibition at Tripoli Gallery, presenting emerging contemporary artists from the Middle East, Turkey, Europe and the United States. The exhibit will include painting, sculpture and video by 12 contemporary artists and it will explore beauty and serenity while investigating the tension, harmony and discord among the various artistsʼ work. The exhibit will be co-presented by Leila Taghinia-Milani Heller (LTMH) Gallery, New York, NY and curated by Leila Heller of LTMH. Heller founded LTMH in 1982 and since then has established a worldwide reputation of prestige in the international art world. The gallery has a dynamic and innovative exhibit schedule that focuses on discovering and cultivating up-and-coming contemporary artists by showcasing their work in international art fairs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Istanbul. Heller was the primary art advisor for the prominent group show “Iran Inside Out” at the Chelsea Art Museum.
