Codes
are
an
impressive
marketing
tool
because
they
are
a
unique
way
to
 increase
engagement
with
customers.

 Because
marketers
have
discovered
multiple
innovative
ways
to
use
QR
codes,
it
makes
you
 wonder
what
will
be
the
next.
Ever
thought
QR
codes
could
assist
with
day‐to‐day
errands?
Well,
 that
is
precisely
what
they
are
capable
of
doing
now.

 QR
codes
are
being
used
in
South
Korea’s
subway
stations
as
an
aid
to
grocery
shopping.
Those
who
 don’t
have
time
to
grocery
shop
have
the
option
to
shop
while
waiting
for
the
subway,
thanks
to
 TESCO
supermarket.

The
virtual
grocery
store
is
set
up
to
look
like
any
other,
with
the
exception
of
 the
tangible
items.
The
customer
can
scan
the
items
they
would
like
to
purchase
and
it
will
then
be
 delivered
to
their
home.
Convenient,
right?
 Other
businesses
are
also
finding
creative
and
innovative
ways
to
promote
their
companies.
For
 example,
some
business
offer
the
ability
to
scan
a
QR
code
to
call
or
text
the
business’
phone
line,
 for
better
customer
service
with
a
quick
turn‐around.

 But
don’t
think
QR
codes
are
for
business
use
only.
For
example,
some
individuals
are
even
using
 QR
codes
for
event
invitations.
The
modern
save
the
date
card
will
have
a
QR
code
that
links
to
a
 website,
where
the
event
information
will
appear.
Go
one
step
further
and
enable
the
QR
code
to
 link
to
the
location
of
an
event
or
sync
the
date
of
an
event
with
the
person’s
smartphone
calendar.

 These
technologically
savvy
QR
codes
have
not
failed
to
amaze
users.
What
do
you
think
the
next
 revolutionary
QR
code
will
do?
