Employment History Colchester High School, Wellesley Rd, Colchester September 2002-2009 Colchester Sixth Form, North Hill, Colchester September 2009-till now HMV Colchester, Work Experience through Trident. June 2008 Received an excellent report from the employers for my diligence, time-keeping, hardworking and enthusiasm. My tasks were quite mundane and repetitive, but I completed them efficiently and accurately. Superbeetle, Gosbecks Farm, Colchester June 2009- September 2010 I was working at a Volkswagen garage part time in order to gain work experience and learn the mechanics of VW vehicles. Which led me to be able to restore my own 1973 VW beetle by using the experience I had gained and the relationship with the owner of the garage. Galleon Beach Café June 2012-August 2012 Over the last summer I worked in a café down in Polzeath, Cornwall. This job required me to work the tills, take orders of the phone, generally clean the café, go through safety checks at opening and closing times, make coffee using a machine, make various complex blended brinks. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the job and found it very easy to talk to customers and be able to keep a welcoming attitude even during extremely busy times. Internship at Studio Shanghai July 2013-August 2013 I spent a month interning at an Architecture firm in Shanghai, working within a larger group of architects. I primarily worked as an Autocad and SketchUp Technician, working on many projects for the firm. I was also asked to collect photographs from key buildings in Shanghai, which I used to reference existing buildings at a site in Qingdao for a Tiandi project. This helped to show the clients what buildings in the site could become, during early stages of design.
Interests Art and structural design, surfing and snowboarding, as well as Hockey. I am very interested in films and music and I play guitar.
