“At Alexandria House, we often say that our community moves like a herd of elephants circling around one another in times of need and never leaving anyone behind. That spirit of solidarity defines who we are Every woman who comes to Alexandria House is surrounded by a circle of care staff, alumni, volunteers, and supporters who walk with her as she does the heroic work of rebuilding her life
This Impact Report reflects the power of that circle and the transformational power of your generosity. Because of you, women and children are finding safety, healing, and hope. Thank you for standing with us and proving that when communities of support invest in women, we all rise ”

"Working at Alexandria House has enabled me to build lasting relationships while helping families secure housing, a process that can be both challenging and rewarding. I strive to provide the care and support that once became a lifeline for my family and I."

At Alexandria House, we remain rooted in community and ready to respond wherever and whenever we’re needed most. In a city where challenges can shift overnight, your support allows us to step forward with compassion, creativity, and courage. Each of these moments reflects what our mission truly means: to be a constant source of hospitality, dignity, and hope. Because of you, we continue to rise meeting need with love and turning crisis into community care.

When disaster struck, Alexandria House became a trusted donation hub. We collected and redistributed essential items to organizations serving those directly impacted by wildfires across LA.

Standing in solidarity with our undocumented neighbors, we opened our doors to provide emergency support, advocacy, and access to safe spaces during times of uncertainty.

“Alexandria House hosts a solar powered food bank that is available to anyone 24/7. Since installation in 2021, hundreds of community members have come to depend on this essential service Together we’re building the reality we want and need to thrive.”

When public resources thin during the hottest months, Alexandria House steps in. We offer meals, childcare, summer camp, and essential assistance to ensure all families are supported.
