Annual Covenant Christmas Dinner December 5th, 5:30 pm

Primetime Senior High Event November 19th, 8:00 pm-12:00 am

Join us for a freaky fun night of Dodgeball, soccer, signs, around the world ping pong, and other craziness. Pizza, pop and snacks will be provided. Sign up at the youth kiosk. Please come in the gym doors on the east side of the church.

Haiti Mission Experience Today, 6:30 pm

Come and hear the amazing experiences of those who were ministering in Haiti. (This time of sharing will replace the normally scheduled Impact group.) Location: The Fellowship Center

God With Us December 12th, 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and 4:00 pm

This year we are offering a day of special Christmas worship services entitled “GOD WITH US”, a warm, home based service that highlights the power of a story. See a child’s story come to life, and hear real-life stories of Alexandria Covenant people for whom God has shown up in large and small-tangible ways.


60+ Young at Heart Christmas Party December 2nd, 12:00 pm

Join us for a potluck lunch as we hear the Jefferson Carolers sing a few rounds of Christmas cheer. Prizes will be given away and we’ll join together to sing some Christmas carols ourselves! Last names: A-H bring a dozen sandwiches I-P bring a salad or relishes Q-Z bring sweet treats (The next Young at Heart event is March 3rd so mark your calendar) Location: The Fellowship Center

December 5th The Jungle kids (preschool-kindergarteners) will present their Christmas program as part of the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services. Decmber 12th A special day of Worship Services, entitled “God With Us”. The choir will sing at 9:00 and the Promiseland Kids will sing at 10:30 and 4:00 pm. December 19th Tony Pitschka and Keith Martinson will have a mini Christmas concert and lead us in worship. December 24th Christmas Eve Candlelight services at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

Planet Wisdom

December 3rd, 4:00 pm Planet Wisdom is a weekend trip for Jr. and Sr. High students at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. This year’s theme is “A God You Can Know”. Sign-up deadline is November 28th, register now! Sign-up in the church office with a non-refundable check. The cost is $68 for the first 10 registrations, $80 thereafter. (You will need money for three other meals).


Harvest Festival November 24th, 7:00 pm

Join us as we celebrate God’s blessings with a service of praise! Fellowship will follow with pie and coffee. We ask each family to bring a pie to the kitchen. We will be taking a special offering that will be divided evenly among the following areas: Global Missions, Covenant World Relief, and the General Fund. For those who choose to fill up a Soup Can Money Bank, the supplies are available at the Welcome Center. Banks should be returned to the Welcome Center by November 24th.

Operation Christmas Child

Bless a child in need this Christmas by packing an empty shoe box with toys and gifts. The labels that you will need for the box can be picked up at the display table near the south entry doors. Once your shoebox is filled and ready to ship, you can leave it at the display table. The deadline for dropping off boxes is November 16th at 4:00 pm.

Children’s Ministry Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers to help out with the children’s ministry! • Children’s church video (once a month) • Sunday School teacher and helper for three year olds (January-May 9:00-10:00 am) • AWANA T&T Secretary Assistant • Extra nursery volunteers for holiday services (Nov. 28th, Dec. 12th, Dec. 24th, Dec. 26th, and Jan. 2nd) If you can invest some of your time into these little ones please contact Julie Barnes at the church office for more details, 320-763-5659.

Christmas Caper December 17th, 7:00 pm

Junior highers, get ready to solve a Christmas mystery together. The details of the mystery will be reserved for the actual event, but you will drive around to different places in Alexandria to witness a couple different crime scenes. You and your team need to figure out what happened, who did it, and why it happened. Prizes for the winning team! (High schoolers, we need you guys to volunteer to be actors in the crime scenes.) Unmet Need

We have a young family who needs furniture for their apartment. They only have bedroom furniture. If you feel you can meet this need please contact Helen Ann Wagner at the church office between 1:00-4:30 pm, 320-763-5659.

Christmas Lights

The Church is looking for people to donate a variety of Christmas lights for the upcoming Christmas Program. The lights should be in working order, please, no icicle lights. Drop your lights off at the music office downstairs by December 5th Thank you.
