Coat Drive for the Hmong Community
Please help elementary students in need within the Hmong Community of Minneapolis. Many of them haven’t enough winter clothes to stay warm, but you can help show Jesus’ love by giving them your gently used coats, boots, sweatshirts, or anything warm. You can put your gifts in the box located at the youth kiosk. The junior high students will be presenting the gifts for the children and helping with their after school program on November 12th. Afterwards the youth will get some food at the mall and maybe play some mall games.
Adopt a Soldier
Please join in helping to support our troops while they selflessly protect and serve us by adopting a soldier. Our goal is to show love and encouragement for these soldiers by sending them care packages. All you need to do is stuff a box and send a thank you or letter of encouragement to your soldier. Boxes, list of ideas, a soldier’s name and address are provided. If you and your soldier want to continue communicating that is great! This is a great project for the entire family. If you know someone serving in the Armed Forces that you would like to see recognized please contact the Church Office so we can honor them in the future as well. Sign up by the welcome center!
